Barbarian v2.18

Since the thread by fallingstar is dead and contains only ancient versions of Barbarian, I figured that it's better to start a new thread here.

Barbarian is an AI script that plays all (almost) AI-playable maps. It randomly selects a strategy depending on its civ, but then may change it depending on circumstances, so on standard maps it mostly follows standard strategies. Supports WK now.

Settings supported (preferred):

Game type: Any (RM, DM, Regicide, Wonder Race)
Map: Any
Civilization: Any
Difficulty: Any (hard)
Resources: Any (standard/low)
Map reveal: Any (explored for DM)
Starting age: Any (dark for RM, post-imperial for DM)
Population cap: Any (200)

To install if for WK on Voobly you need to unzip the file in the WK Script.Ai Folder

There's no support yet for new victory conditions. Since there are much new features, there are also probably many new issues, so I'll most likely release another smaller update during summer to fix them. I'll consider new victory conditions for the next update, but weird settings won't be high on priority list.

Hi, Thank you very much for this AI, its very strong, and very likely the strongest one available for the AOC community. As many of you might know, i like to play Realms really much, unfortunatly, this AI is not able to play Realms civilization. It would be kind of you, if you could adapt the AI somehow (and if its not noo much work for you Sir) to be able to work with Realms.
I am looking forward for this, either case i will not hate you, it would be just cool for me personally

I have some issues with barbarian, it seems to bug out with Realms mod, it behaves normally until in feudal it doesnt produce army and just make a lot, a lot of farms.
Guess i will have to train with WK now :S

How do I force it to sling? When the game starts, used the 38 taunt, it said it will, it upped to feudal early and added a market, then didnt send anything. I tried using 3-4-5 asking for res but still never sent anything.

Was playing on Hardest. Civs were goths with viking AI to sling

I tested slinging on hardest by taunting 38 and didn't see any issue (outside too fast up for slinging). It should send resources as long as it has resources to spare and has coinage researched.

Ah, literally just realised I was playing on a seperate WK mod, forgetting it has coinage issues.

Why would/should it work with realms?

Well i played Goth vs Britons there, so it should work right?
I thought it should work there, it even uses the reskinned berries and the deer so i dont know why it shouldnt work :/ played on ara

Its mega weird, as in both scenarios it has been given an standard aoc civ (in my case i had an aoc civ too). I will ask Vardamir what his mod could do to make this Ai so weird.
I hope TheMax has an explanation for this and answer me, even tho he propably hates me from the buttom of his heart.
