There are different drafts for different rounds. All the drafts are available in the handbook. You can draft against a friend or against yourself by opening two tabs. Can you explain the draft, how many civs are drafted?
Extreme cases can set an alarm and snooze until the event begins. Check-in is, unfortunately, quite essential to ensure proper attendance. There was one event where something failed and check-in was skipped, and the number of no-shows was through the roof, which could lead to some people not getting to play, because an inactive player would take their spot.Does check in system is really needed? 9:30-11:30 UTC check in time could be hard for different timezones especially Americas, seems a bit unfair for lads and they have to play through entire night.
Does this mean that a player can pick the map that their opponent picked in the map draft or do they have to stick to their own selected maps?Game 2 The loser of the previous game’s choice.
Game 3 The loser of the previous game’s choice.
They can only pick their own selected home maps - this may need to be clarified, thank you.Does this mean that a player can pick the map that their opponent picked in the map draft or do they have to stick to their own selected maps?
You must phrase it as a question! Thanks, though! Also found a typo in the handbook and the Qualification Seeding Spreadsheet: ninenty-six
Apologies, Masmora, this question went completely over my head. I cannot entirely answer the question, however. It depends on a few things, and we will assess the situation quickly and provide an official statement about it, if it becomes relevant.Assuming the new DLC will be out by then, will this be played with the new civs?
Sorry for the delayed response. We have decided on merely using the second, already used, seeding method in the event, the one versus one rating. Also wanna say I'm glad that the ATP rankings are being used for seeding, but there is a chance there will be some tie (for example slam and miguel are tied for 19th place atm), what will happen in that case?
Regarding the group stage, players are placed into the groups in the usual fashion, but positioned in the quarterfinals in a way to avoid repeat matchups.I'm also not sure which seeds will be in which group. In most cases seeds 1, 8, 9 and 16 are in the same group, but in some cases it's changed a bit so that the quarterfinals can be seed 1 vs seed 8.
