What do you think about the tower nerf. If you have time give an explanation why. I speak about the +25 wood cost. Do you think towers needed a nerf? If yes, are you happy with the way they got nerfed?

yeah towers could be 0.5 pop like karambits and bombard 1 pop, that would be a really good thing especially for all ffa and bf gamesWhen reading your post, it came to my mind:
Why not have towers take up 1 pop space?
You could argue: It's a building, and not an army unit, so therefore it shouldn't take POP space.
Yet I think it could be reasonable, especially with regard to those occasions where static defense/offense gets really annoying:
- When someone feudal trushes you, they'll have to build extra houses. Costs a little wood, and possibly disencourages players to build that 9th fwd tower on the enemies' gold pile.
- No more 10,000,000 Bombard Towers in one spot on chokepoints in 1v1s and TGs.

you could introduce an upgrade that cost food that enables towers (but having to research an upgrade before you could defend with towers sounds as a terrible idea)25 wood is arguably worse than useless because that can easily be covered by a single extra villager on wood, and it makes defense harder by an equal amount.
A better nerf would have been to add a food cost. It would be weird to have buildings that cost food but it's the only way I can think of to give a real defenders advantage. With food cost you can't go all in trush in the same way without sacrificing villagers, and it won't hurt the defender as much since they probably have a larger food economy.
Adding food cost would make it harder for a defender to get to castle age, but I think his eco should be enough better it wouldn't make a huge difference if the cost was set to the right amount.
