The way the rule is worded right now is definetly discrimination since origin of birth is obviously not a skill. I do agree that what Escape mean is that they want to have casters who are fluent at English, but we shouldnt have to make assumptions about what we think it means, so the rule should definetly be reworded.I’m gonna go ahead and assume your whole post is directed at me.
I guess you’re a very busy man and don’t have the time to read all the posts in the thread before starting to make wild accusations.
As I clearly stated before, it’s pretty obvious to anyone with a bit of common sense that the issue at hand is not the place of birth but proficiency in English. Maybe the rule could have been better worded to avoid misunderstandings.
Or what exactly are you suggesting? That Zero and Robo are all a bunch a bigots and racists that despise any and everyone who wasn’t born in an English-speaking country? Is that what you in your right mind are suggesting?
As for the rest of your post, I’ll just say it’s very hard to have a serious discussion with you when you knowingly twist my words to give the impression I said something else than what I actually said.
I said point blank both Memb and Nili are 2 of my favorite streamers. I also implied they are absolute first rate casters. And yet here you are saying “you understand I might dislike them”. I don’t dislike them, I love them both and I even said as much.
I’ve been subbed to Memb for over a year and I’ve donated over 100 bucks to Nili’s apartment cup.
But hey, don’t let facts disturb you too much.
