Is NC17_valley going to be on the map pool?

Sorry for late reply. Yes, there will be a version of Valley in the final map pool and probably added into the set maps or something as well.

All the maps are going to be on at least version 3 (NC17v3_Map_Name) for the tournament. We will get the hopefully final version 3 maps out sometime next week.

I'm assuming it's because he played for Canada in one of the prior iterations of the Nations Cup.

He told me he hasn't played for Canada. Plus he isn't in Canadas 2014 rooster but I mean mean maybe but I still haven't been told why he can't play like at all,

Never played for Canada in any tournaments. Not that it matters.

Its permanent residency AND the 3 years conditions.

The Player is entitled to permanently reside in that Nation, and has been a resident for at least the last 3 years.

In my case. Lived in oz from 2012-2014, Canada fron 2014 to june 2016 and Australia from 2016 to now

Not an admin, but you qualify as:
You are a citizen of Australia. This test is a single limb test for eligibility.
You would not be entitled to play for Greece under Tournament Rules clause 15 (viewtopic.php?f=1536&t=130802), due to the fact that you previously represented Australia in a SY NC.

The one Christ is seeking to qualify under is a dual limb test for eligibility, as he is not a citizen of Australia.
There is no issue under the Tournament Rules clause 15, as he has not represented Canada before.
The relevant rule is therefore:
The Player is entitled to permanently reside in that Nation, and has been a resident for at least the last 3 years.
Christ satisfies the first part of the test, as he has PR. However, he does not satisfy the requirement that he has been a resident for at least the past 3 years - please refer to the definition of 'resident' (A resident is defined as spending at least 9 months of each year in the country where residency is being claimed).

The aoc community and players pool is small enough already, so, not giving Christ the chance of taking part of Australia A just because this nations cup is happening now and not within 2 years makes no sense at all. What's the big drama if he plays? will the sponsors feel hurt? :roll: Personally I think no player/team would feel upset if he was allowed in this situation. Actually I think most of us will agree that is great seeing more teams signing up.

Cheers Helene .I'd also like to point out that in the last 5 years he has spent man average of 6.4 onths in Australia. I understand that it's each year for 9 months. The only he had to return was due to the end of his visa. but like cmon christ pays tax's in Australia and is considered a resident by our damn country and without him we can't play in nc

+1, this won't change anything important in the tournament... we don't talk about daut beeing norwegian since yesterday
there should be a rule which allows admins to decide in these cases where the intention is cleary not to form a 2k+ team but all is about playing with the known community / friends. i see christ playing australian TGs nearly every day and actually he is australian and didnt play for any other country..

Is it possible to change the team rosters (in silver league)? for example if one player of team B wants to join team A because team B doesn't participate in the silver league

Go Aussie A! Glad this decision worked out well - ChriSt plays Aussie team games every night with us! He should be representing us in the NC <3 xxx
