You say you're accepting of all punishments, but still making this post.I have never tried to get away with it, I did deserve all the punishments that are applied on me. Most important part is as u can see that I have also lost respect of some people and I can understand that as well. The point I can't see is, is that going to affect all the tournaments? if so, please go ahead and take a decision regarding that and I swear i won't complaint about it ever. Because this is bullshit that I was allowed in first place and I've even seen myself in barackets then got removed when tournament about to start.
I'm calling to the sponsors and Voobly team, if that is the case that I will not be allowed in all aoc events, just let me know and I swear won't even complain about it if that is the case.
So Edie donated like 2$ for the tournament and said Emin shouls not play :-D
You are right at your comments.I think it's the right call. This is a small community, and even though the events aren't directly related, everything is all tied up in this aoc world of ours. If you were allowed to participate in every other event, it's like they're ignoring the attempt you made during Nations Cup and the punishment you received. And let's be honest, it was a pretty damn big mistake.
You got your sentence for the NC actions, but they punished you where they could. They couldn't tell other people that you aren't allowed to play their tournaments, that would have to be up to themselves, as it has been in this tournament, and it will be in all the other events that aren't hosted by Voobly.
And it's not like this was a year ago and a lot of time has passed, Nations Cup is even still going on, so your reaction does you no good.
You have to start thinking about the timing of your posts and when to reply or not. You get baited a lot into replying to people that are clearly out for you, and that does you no good either. Your best bet after all of this was to lay low for a while, take some well deserved stick, yet you came out with the training stuff right away after the Ertug thing, so obviously people were gonna come gunning for you, where you kept getting baited, and even more so after your reaction to this.
You're a good guy, but you've gotta start thinking twice and try to show more of an understanding to how this all works.
Tom_Yum is signed up 8-)Over/Under on number of hours until another mysterious oldschool Turkish expert player from "zone days" returns to the scene and expresses his interest in playing in MoA3?
As far as I know you did have your arguments in any other tournament so far. You even posted under smurf nickname so noone knew it is you till admins cleared things up. Rules are just principles that regulate tournament run. It has nothing to do with banning players from tournament as this obviously happen before tournament begin and also there is no precedent to such rules as banning player from tournament so it is understandable that swissboy did not make any. Such situation is obviously very rare especially in small comunities like AOC one.I dont like the decision as well as several other aspects concerning execution of this tournament so far.
But staying on the topic, what basis in rules states that admins can be choosy concerning who can/can't play in the tournament?
Emin punishment was announced and is applicable to several tournaments. It was not applicable to this tournament with the initial launch since its not hosted by voobly.
IF we go on this route then Hmm maybe lets just kick out everyone who was ever verbally abusive, point trading or whatever other reason u wish. Or wait, lets maybe kick all those annoying spamming 15xx guys, i dont like them too so how about that? Id imagine that would narrow the number of players too.
Well thats from me, i dont like the admin of this tournament is being choosy and decides who can play or not based on his personal feelings about players. That is not professional in any sort and im looking forward to a betting competition, where swissboy disqualifies everyone he needs to in order to win the bets
This is the first time something AoC related has made me genuinely angry and sad. The players from Turkey A have already received a very severe punishment appropriate to their behaviour. They are banned from NC II, banned from the next NC and Emin was banned from the next major voobly event and removed from the staff.
In reality what those punishments have done is destroyed Turkey A for years and they all seem to have quit apart from Emin. Maybe that's fair enough given what they did. Like I said at the time, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that the actions of one individual skilled at social manipulation (as Viper can attest) can cause such damage.
Either way, the scope of those punishments was clearly limited to the NC series and in Emin's case the next big voobly event. What you're doing now reeks of a witch hunt. You're trying to ostracize him from independently run events and have taken it upon yourself to needlessly extend an already severe punishment. What purpose does that serve?

Is the original punishment not enough for your tastes? Did you disagree at the time?

To the people asking, this had nothing to do with the people who donated. Or if it did, then I wasn't involved in any way. I've already committed to helping sponsor MoA3, but needless to say I won't be supporting this event in future.
i love how most people are taking this thread seriously!!
