I think that we can all agree that the only solution is to force The Brothers to play as one person. They can sit on eachother's shoulders and wear a trench coat.
Vincentheus.

Enough said imo.tldr; we've been told to stop, we will stop.
And how do you plan to enforce that? Force everyone to stream?
Since you can't enforce it, I think it's futile and unnecessary to call out specific people and ask them not to do it.
Well, the point is that some people are naturally inclined to do what is right, which in a competitive tournament, would be to follow the rules. So once it is explicitly included in the rules and understood that it provides an unfair advantage, people with a sense of honor will stop doing it.

Precisely.
There are a bunch of "rules" in our modern societies there are virtually impossible to enforce but they are still in place so that people who want to do whats right know how to behave in public spaces.
In this case, I think an explicit rule is even more important because apparently, as you could see from the other thread, many people have no problem with this "coaching" thing. I personally find it glaringly unfair to be live coached during a tournament game by a very high rated player. But it actually doesn't matter what I think, what matters is what the admins think. And they seem to agree with me since they already said they spoke with the brothers to stop doing it.
The brothers already said they would stop doing it (and I personally believe they 100% mean it) and Admins already said a clearer rule will be included. I'm happy.
Hopefully it's all smooth sailing from now on!
XY (vs) Melkor + Coach
I understand few stuff but something gman didn't answered( or i haven't looked well) is how he is not making a re after what melkor said giving his bro tips in game( no matter how important is the tip, just the fact of giving it is for me like cheating) and slam who replied to it in a diplomatic way that it is unfair to him. How can the games not be re after this?? Slam can be really mad after reading this thread. This is not cool to him.
It's good that gman warned him to not give tips to his bro in futur, it's also good that the bros promised to not do it in the futur( and i beilive them cuz they are good people) but what about the present ? i personnaly think it should be remake.

Exactly, joke of a tournament
@MaSmOrRa
Even if slam said it, it should be remade cause Slam is a very nice guy and he doesn't want re cause he probably feels like it would be seemed as a weak action or something ( which is not) and slam shouldn't even have to give his opinion about this, when u cheat, you shouldn't even ask for re, the host of the tourney should make the decision of re, not need to ask the opinion of slam or any others players.

I understand exactly what you are saying, the thing is: according to the present rules of the tournament, it's not absolutely clear that what the brothers did was "cheating" and the whole thing could be interpreted in different ways (as you could see from the old topic).
just stop posting BSYep i know slam a bit for having some discussions with him few times since last year and he is not the kinda guy that is going to make some drama or asking a re, he is just too humble to do that kind of stuff.
After looking to most of people opinion on aoczone and having some discussion with many players( don't ask me names), i've came with the conclusion that most of the community agrees with my opinion. Gman saying he won't give re cause there is no specific rules for this disturbes me a lot, actually not rly for me but for the definition of fair play and by respect for slam or any others players. It is clearly cheating but since melkor and feanor are really good people and have been really honnest and didn't see it in a way of cheating, they should'nt be banned from this tourney but this match up should be replayed.
I know this might sound crazy or rude but i think this tourney should be suspend or being host by another one( if someone has the motivation for it, memb swissboy and others are very good for those stuff) because this decision is clearly killing the tourney and against the fair play/respect. Allowing this is giving a really bad message for the futur.
If 2 or 3 big names of this tourney or most of the players of this tourney would also ask for suspension of tourney, the host will have no other choices to change his mind. It could have happened to any others players of this tourney, it was slam but any players should try to feel at slam place at the moment, he probably see it as an injustice right now( i think).
How is that not cheating? You're literally standing beside your brother telling him what to do, and no matter how you word it you're giving them advice which they should not have in a 1v1. I guess the only way this could be acceptable is in a teamgame where you're both on the same team - that's just communicating with your team mate. We've been doing this ever since we started playing voobly tournaments 6 years ago.
These habits come from playing a huge amount of boardgames and analysing them as we play/finish so we learn and not make the same mistakes. If we are playing a 1v1 boardgame we analyise as we play, same as if we play a 1v1 on AoC.
Not really. Accepting the result but warning the brothers to not do it again is basically saying "you get away with cheating this time, but don't do it again." That is a joke.I understand few stuff but something gman didn't answered( or i haven't looked well) is how he is not making a re after what melkor said giving his bro tips in game( no matter how important is the tip, just the fact of giving it is for me like cheating) and slam who replied to it in a diplomatic way that it is unfair to him.
