Hi everyone, today i'm here to introduce a bug i discovered some months ago but that i wanted to keep secret until today. However, what i'm talking about? Houses can melee attack units that attack them, just by right clicking with the house on one of the units attacking it (this situation is so common, just think about walls made with houses). Target can be easily switched by right clicking another unit attacking the house. This works also if the enemy unit is standing very close to the house, when not attacking it.
The damage isn't huge, but not even low: 1 damage every second in a very strange way. Some seconds not dealing damage, some seconds dealing double or triple damage (the attacked unit will take all the "extra" randomly not-taken damage).
Yeah, that's not a joke. That's obviously working also in Multiplayer on WK. Since i've seen basically none doing it, would this help to develop a new feudal meta? Could be quite interesting.
And that's not all. That thing works also with other buildings, but in a very strange way. Otherwise than from houses, they can't normally attack with right click. They can do it only if you're right click button isn't the default one (gather point right click overriding building attack?). Basically, for example just by inverting left and right mouse click you will be able to attack melee units with Barracks, Archery Range, Stable, Monastery and so on with left click (no palisade/stone walls, 24). Yeah, that's annoying. Houses are the only one building that everyone can normally use with this trick.
Is this something already known? Still, could be very helpful to someone.
Unfortunately i'm not able to make a video about it, however i will post some proof pics. You can easily try that by yourself in the editor or with someone else in a normal game).
I want lastly to thank @zShades and my boi 2k2 @GoldenEnd for testing this.
