The Argentinian caster Locoser (youtube.com/c/locoser) presents his first big tournament

24 Players directly invited by privated will be participating in the event, which will happen from the 15th June to the 11th July. Sorted by max historical Elo, the highest 8 will qualify directly to the main event while the remaining 16 will have to play 1 series to qualify into it. All series will be casted live while possible.

All rounds are direct elimination, and Bo5, except for the finals, which are Bo7. All maps in the mappool are standard AOEII DE maps. There is no Mappack.
The Tournament is open casting. PoV allowed

Taking into account all this plus the terms and conditions that MS has, we understand that we are within the legal regulations and we do not inflict any law.
If any member/employee/representant of Microsoft understand that we are doing something wrong, we invite him/her to reach to us, in order to advice us about what we're doing wrong."

Regarding to Opeansea, they have said this:

"Regarding why OpenSea, we're using it because it is more accessible for those who are not 100% on the subject. The team is working on its own contract and if necessary we will implement it, adding, this way, more value to the project.
We know that in OpenSea there are projects without owners and without finishing, that is why we are working to give you the best experience we can deliver."

Furthermore, I speak in behalf of both myself and Locoser when I said that we're both willing to put both parts (Microsoft and Age Cards) in direct contact, if someone from Microsoft is interested in contacting our sponsor. If that's the case, you can pm me either here or in discord, and I will be glad to help.

As you must see, all of our parties are acting in good will, and we want nothing but to help expanding the beautiful phenomenon that's has been, is and will be Age of Empires II.

Speaking personally, not on behalf of Microsoft, even if the intentions are good, profiting off of Microsoft IP without a formal relationship is not a place I would want to be. Most of the time, having someone come in and drop money on prize pools is amazing, but in this case I do have to wonder if "Age of Cards" is just trying to raise awareness for their product to make a quick buck. I've never heard of them before and they appear to only be speaking via @Lord_patito

I'm aware that Microsoft it's not on peace with the reply the sponsor gave. As I said, I can give the legal contact of Age cards. For the rest, I have only spoke to the sponsor once. I'm just the general admin of the tournament, and I'm the visible face of it just because Locoser's english is not good enough to reply all the questions

Anyway, we're working with Locoser to find a solution to all this issue. The tournament will be played as agreed, since the prizepool is assured, with or without sponsor

Long story short, we had an NFT sponsor, but we dropped because they were violating Microsoft IP. So, it has nothing to do
