I usually rename my replays with player names, civs, bot difficulty and a comment, leaving the timestamp intact save for the seconds. And i can tell you: without a ridiculous amount of shorthands and omitting spaces, these wouldn't ever be usable. So as long as we don't come up with a set of shorthands most people can agree with, a full, year first timestamp is as helpful as possible.Well, I hope the default record game names could be changed to something more helpful :?
I'd love a more comprehensive renaming format as well.
As for Slavs not having fortified walls: they're a power civ, very strong late game AND eco bonus. They should thus not have a chance to play extreme defence with fortified walls to outboom their enemies.
Lack of faith is because they have power units and it's always nice to convert them. (similar reasoning that Persians don't have Heresy)
Britons can still kill Celtic Paladin very easily with archers since Celts don't have Plate Barding Armor(+1 normal/+2 pierce armor) and Bloodlines for Cavalry units. Celts also dont's have much against Britons since Britons get better armor, better monks, more versatile navy(they get fast fire ships), better archer rush and better archers, better booming. All Celts have is faster infantry(although no better than Briton infantry other than being faster), faster firing siege with 40% more hp but expensive to mass compared to archers, and wood gathering bonus so removingSuggestion for Celts balancing:
- Remove paladins
- Add bracer
=> Paladins are very strong, and since Britons don't have them, Celts which are around the same area (even more North), should've not get them, as the basically come from France. (actually the same story with Teutons who got Paladins and the Nothern vikings who doesn't)
=> Basically helps their elite skirms to deal with archers with a greater range/attack. Will also help their galleons to be better
Noone would notice celts not having pala. Bracer on the other hand would make this dominant civ op in both land and water maps.
Not having bracer was a balancing feature for their wood bonus. That means while they can outproduce, outeco and overpower other civs before imp, their navy suffers in imp and their range units become obsolete dead weight.
With bracer i can use my strong eco to mass the crap out of xbow in castle without worrying about imp. Bracer and chem makes xbows relevant long enough for me to comfortably transition into inf and siege. And later on i can counter archers even better, as if immortal siege rams, onnies and scorps weren't enuff...
Celt's balancing feature is their weakness at early imp, where they have to transition from range units. It's there to counter their dominance in earlier stages and mid imp. And also in trash wars. Missing bracer again balances them. They're meant to have mediocre trash. Woads and halbs don't use much gold. It takes much longer for the celt to run out of it.

And celts paladins just make no sense.
Indians are quite short of raiding when in pocket. While camels are cheaper, even massed camels can't kill vills efficiently.IMO give them a small increment in attack speed-like +10% faster(maybe only vs vills).

There is actually a story behind why the Celts get Paladins.
The French and the Scots formed an alliance against the British, and as part of the alliance they had an exchange of military ideas and soldiers. The French learned some guerilla tactics from the Scots and the Scots adopted heavy cavalry from the French as many French nobles settled in Scotland.
So for a while the Scots had a heavy cavalry based army but most of their Knights were killed in battles against the British, and that might be why Scottish Paladins lack Plate Barding Armor and Bloodlines.
^^
Yeah that's a good idea but Vikings aren't that likely to have a castle up in most non water situations.
