Announcing the Visible Cup!

Robo and I are proud to announce the Visible Cup - a multiple week semi-pro tournament using Hidden Cup 3 Settings! Since we were both considering hosting an event for semi-pro players after HC3, we combined the ideas to bring you the Visible Cup!

In Visible Cup - you guessed it - the identities of the players will be visible! Aside from this, the tournament will utilize Hidden Cup 3 maps and settings (see Rules & Settings for details). In this event, we would like to give a chance for the semi-pros who might have not made the cut into the Ro32 of HC3 or got eliminated, and anyone else that would like a chance at playing in a proper tournament.

The event utilizes a 64-player bracket that can be expanded up to 128 players if the number of sign-ups requires it. Any player is eligible to sign up, who has NOT participated in the main event of Hidden Cup 3. Sign-ups will be seeded by their 1v1 DE Random Map ratings.

Thanks for the tournament, will definitely sign up! Pretty sure that players in top 16 HC would rather be eliminated after seeing this.
Also I think our new semi pro slam will have a good chance in this tournament.

I loove this! I would love to see these semi-pro tournament formats more often so that, us, top 50-150 plebs(even lower, why not?) get some proper competition without having to quit our jobs to attempt reaching top 40 and even then get stomped.

Something like Fair Civs cup "low-budget" edition would've been nice....

And we have a good mix of players who improved a lot recently and players who play for a long time, but for different reasons currently are not top 20 players.

Favourites should be 1. PROject_Belgium, 2. Daniel, 3. Vodka_L. @FeAge needs to get in shape and he could be top 4. Happy to see him motivated to play tournaments again.

@Mr_Yo Will you take care of the sign-up of some Chinese players again? The prize pool probably is not the most motivating for players like Tim, Lyx, StrayDog, Paladin, Jibatong, etc. (and I'm not sure if Yinghua, Whoop, CL, xiaofan, etc. even regularly play on DE, just have seen them play all day on Voobly China).
