The Meta | #3 | Lithuanians Instant Drush
The Meta continues with a instant Drush with the Lithuanians. The Lithuanians start with 150 food extra, which means you can effectively produce 3 militia fr...www.youtube.com
tl:dr, Lith start with +150 food so you can afford to insta build barracks and create a few militia
I can think of a few other dark age focused offensive strategies, including, dunno, aztec drush(because of additional gold), even the old good drush into fc relies on dark age attacks, even if they come at a slightly later time. Then we can also count things like mongol 14 pop up(though it's hard to pull off) where you can get to your enemy's base before he gets to feudal too.
Question is, if these strategies are fine, then what happened to the whole idea of that the "dark age is for setting up, therefore you shouldn't be attacked during its course"
So if I lame with my eagle instead of a scout, thus taking advantage of 'my civ bonus' is it okay?I believe it is redundant now but I am referring to stealing res only like boars or sheeps. Making use of civ advantages is perfectly fine. I think it is more clear where I am coming from, as laming isn't necessarily a small definition to some.

What about doing it with a mongol scout(+los)
or as Vietnamese, because then I instantly know where my enemy is and can guess where his boars are too?
My point here is, the differences between all these strats here are just so blurry that it's extremely hard to draw a hard border between what's "fine" and what not
It seems that the issue of laming will never go away so long as it is possible in-game
Sorry if I made you feel this wayAt first I thought you were asking legit questions but now it looks like you are being sly. You know what I mean.
I was trying to be gracious to you, but it is this very reason that experts or good players don't post on these forums except for scheduling. Sometimes I regret it myself when I get reminded of aoc history on forums.
Some possible things:
- increase boars bonus damage against cavalry/scout even more so they kill scout in maximum 3 hits
- make it follow just after second hit (if just one hit follow: scout takes 2/3 of hp damage, second hit kills him)
With this you have a really big disadvantage against the opponents scout/vill/whatever after laming. So it will be not worth anymore to go for the boars if you have 1/3 of your HP left just for a normal boar steal. It will be not possible anymore to steal two boars. In addition you hurt your scouting for wasting time stealing the boar.
And then he even pities himself how negatively he is viewed by a big part od the community.Such needlessly toxic behavior by MbL.
Was it wrong or in this series against the rules to lame? No. Is it still normal and human to complain about it to your teammates (!)? Yes. Is laming sth only MbL does? No. Should laming be banned in the future? Probably yes due to the crazy luck factor.
Is there a reason to tell someone to "stfu"? No. It is immature, unnecessary and toxic.
I do prefer Secret players to MbL, but that is not due to skill, but mostly due to their generally more mature and sympathic attitude.
Now of course MbL can ignore me, because I am an anonymous pleb on the internet and he is, after all, a pro at an online computer game. But I am just voicing my opinion and I don't think I stand alone with that.
You forgot the famous FC into fwd siege and pikes:DRather its walls, skrimishers, hussars, towers, lame... anything

This is the only game i know where people think its "unethical" trying to get an advantage over your opponent.
Too many characterless white knights. This is the only game i know where people think its "unethical" trying to get an advantage over your opponent.
What? Are are you trying to compare that to getting advantage in a legit way in a game?Really?
What about faking a penalty in football? Is it "ethical"?
I think that stream cheating can be done in any esport, and when not banned by the rules(like in this showmatch) would be definitely viewed as unethical by the majority. This is the only game i know where people think its "unethical" trying to get an advantage over your opponent.
