Not sure if theres any topic related to this already, but lately, watching and playing the game, I notice pathing bugs is happening more and more lately, and I dont see anything about this in the new updates.
Its kinda important thing imo, happens alot when ur in a patrol war and you wanna retreat, and then suddenly all you army run into the enemy's army. Also, another thing I see alot is villagers making stupid running around buildings when u actually need them to go directly to the tc, or when u wanna quickwall with a gate and a building next and after u start building the gate the vill just go back for no reason and then come back to try to do the next building.
Whats ur opinion about this?
2 - in a fight xbow and kts are like if u put them in passive position, YES, these do not ATTACK, although they are in "Attack" mode do not hit the enemy units (I think this was the worst bug )
i really trust the team, maybe its a mistake that comes from the year 2000 and just now we have realized this 11.Do you mean "stand ground" or "defensive position" instead of "passive position"? Never seen this bug to be honest. I have seen many times that units are in "no attack stance" by accident though.
3) happens to me aswell, but most of the time it's because I patrolled the units late, so there is a short moment, where they gather together and attack after.
When the UP Team and WK-creator both say, they didn't change anything about pathing, I think we have to live with that. The pathing in AoE was alyways bad and the movement of units is even worse on HD (TGs are the worst), but I guess that correlates with the tremendous lag sometimes. Voobly feels much smoother in that regard.
some kts from me just stood still while the others were attacking, I even remember in that game pressing the letter "A" (in my hotkeys and the default hotkeys "A" is attack) so that they move and attack, but they didnt

there are occasional moonwalks in WK/AoC, but its rather uncommon to see, unlike on HD where its every gamePath finding issues increases according to the game latency, the more lag you feel the weirdest path you will see, at least there ain't moonwalk in Wk xd

The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes in Dark Age the villager building the first Lumber Camp will walk back to take stragglers at the TC. Wasn't there a UP update that improved pathing performance? Could that be related? I definitely feel it was a more recent development.
Although this is usually fine, it can lead to another interesting situation. If your lumber camp was still under construction when the lumberjack gives up, that lumber camp doesn't count as a valid dropsite yet, so the nearest wood dropsite would still be the TC. If you've ever seen a lumberjack walk back to chop the straggler trees near your TC after being sent to get wood near your first lumber camp, that's why it happens.
