yet some guys are obviously 2k but have a 1700 rating
Exactly, it goes both ways, smurfing is well known, I know many 17, 18, 19 accounts that belong to 23-25xx players lol. WCL is a good example of that there are both overrated and underrated players and teams. If I dont remember wrong IRC (18xx team) result vs CSC (23xx team) was 2-3.
Anyways, my point was not to offend anyone, just pointing out that there are many ways to gain rating, and I don't think there is a point in posting a lot of maps and positions that are peoples weak points, just to embarass someone, unless emin in this case really was annoying and bragging about skills he does not have.
mazimug_ said:Rate is supposed to indicate skill level, but it can easily be manipulated, Seggencool is a good example of how you can become 2xxx when you should be 15xx.
seggencools profile says that he won a lot vs 1650+ players a lot vs 17+ players a lot vs 1850+ players and didnt play vs 1600- players. why does this envy qui guy says that he should be 15xx
If you point out "many games" he played vs 185+, wich i doubt you can, that still makes him 185+, not 2k+ He was bragging endless to me how he beat all this 185+ and 19+ guys, and then showed me one game he beat a 1650 guy, I thought he was trolling, but unfortunaly I dont think he is, wich made me feel kind of sorry for him. I'm not sure if you are trolling tho, online sarcasm is often hard to see. I think it is annoying with people that refuse to play against people of the same skill level they claim to be, the way "Seggencool" is afk whenever someone over 1500 enters his room is just pathetic, and I will never let him play in my 17 and 18+ TGs, simply because he is far under that level (he has never won a teamgame as far as I know). I just know this type of ppl that want to be something they cant be will use cheats or do anything to look better then they are.
