Google has famously developed AlphaGo, an AI capable to play go and which is using machine learning as a way to improve. Could such a thing be possible on AoE2? If so, how? If not, why?
I wonder if it would also be possible to extracts data from recorded games (between players for examples), and somehow tell our AI to try to reproduce the way top players play, e.g. 6 vill on food at the start, when to gb in a fight, how to micro, etc.
