Using missionaries to follow paladins or conqs isnt necessary....
It just helps a really small bit and the missionaries are gonna die really fast as soon as you reach combat. They aer more bother than its worth. Better jsut to build monks in your base and bring troops home to heal..
Tarkans definitely have some uses, even if they are not great units.
Byzantine camels are amazing so I dont see why people are even considering them.
Even long swordsmen can be used as goths to great effect in some circumstances/ or v goths when enemy is only building huscarl. They all have their moments.
Really, missionaries are never ever mandatory, they just make a small difference from monks thats so minute you never even notice it, and when your done with them they cant even pick up relics ..
All of those mentioned above can be necessary in soem situations. Missionaries are never ever necessary period.
No, you cannot do the same with Monks because Monks are slow. And you do that in tgs?
you can do the same with monks. and with the micro its not worth it.
Guys, don't confuse "worst unit" with "underused".
Trade Ships are underused, but that don't make them bad nor the worst unit.
Missionaries are good at open maps, like Arabia. You go to enemy wood camp, convert a vil, and run away. Back again after some secons to take other vil :P
