Most people just plays out of feelings though, and everyone had the same access to feel the power of Elephant's splash. Also everyone played on same balance, so there wasn't anything unfair going on, more so, the ECL will keep this bug for the current round just to don't change balance mid way, so no need to retroactive looking for stuff. Just piggybacking on this, Spanish trade is currently 53% stronger rather 25% on HD, tested multiple times on both scenario and random maps. Having two Spanish teammates doesn't make it worse (as intended), nor there is difference between being yourself Spanish or a teammate of a Spanish, it is the team bonus the one broken. I don't have the last expansion so I can't test on the last version of WK if this also happens there or not, so someone should confirm that.
My tests on AoC last userpatch (not WK) are exactly 33% stronger as intended.

Druzhina works fine on UserPatch as expected, since it was added in the FE mod in 2013.Cataphracts (and Druzhina Infantry) deals 5 damage out of special bonus damage, by the way, maybe checking on Druzhina right now wouldn't be a bad idea now we are into this.
Odd, I retested on HD, I get consistently 57% higher (as if the formula did 1.25 x 1.25), and HD on Conquerors data sets scores 77% higher (as if the formula did 1.33 x 1.33). On Conquerors R7 I get 33% faster, meanwhile in WK (Africans civs only version) I get 25%.I tested it on Voobly (WK 5.7.2) and on HD and I didn't get these numbers. However the bonus was slightly higher on Voobly.
The trade bonus was ~32% instead of 25%. Not as gamebreaking, but definitily worth to mention.
This value is not visible in data-editors and not the only id-specific unique effect too. Either hard-coded to the datafile, or not revealed yet which number does effect like this, or the code is not even in the datafile, but example in the .exe itself.I am confused on why nobody noticed this. I'm testing using 182 tiles of distance (straight line, no diagonal, diagonal is counted x2), so the non-team bonus with caravan per travel gold is exactly 100. I tested in both random maps and scenario (in the first waiting until an ally CPU creates a market and then I make a straight line calculating 182 tiles by using up 364 wood on palisades). I have not tested online in detail, but the trade rates on some tower defense
It's indeed hardcoded so that War Elephants do only 50% splash damage, nothing in the unit data tells so. Also tested if Spanish mate or you're Spanish yourself, or multi Spanish in same team. No change in any version.
