I agree. Altough, after thinking about it, if pathfinfing is broken, then balance is. Melee units wil become better with better pathing, so balance will changeYou are right to some extent. Yes a lot of the deeper engine related is handled by a different team, but some of it is still done by FE.
That being said you are right when you say balance changes are super easy to code, and even within FE they are done by completely different people. So yeah making balance changes doesn't have an impact on how fast bugs and pathfinding are fixed, no reason to put them on hold or anything.
