Maybe you want to watch games with aditional patch that you have set up in voobly? Like AoFE or Balance patch or some other patch like 5th ageYes. 3 options:
Neither works.
- 1.0c
- 1.3
- 1.4RC
I've noticed a little issue with Voobly offline recently. If you've installed Voobly, please try the following:
1. browse to your "Age of Empires II\Data" folder
2. look for these 2 files: "empires2_x1_p1.dat" and "empires2_x1_v1.dat" (difference is v1 and p1)
3. if you have the "v1" but not the "p1", then Voobly may have corrupted the installation
4. to fix this, clone the "empires2_x1_v1.dat" file and rename the clone to "empires2_x1_p1.dat"
5. try the game now (double-click the .mgx in the SaveGame folder)
Alternate Install (create a separate "age2_x1.4.exe", which is best for Voobly players)
1. Extract "SetupAoC.exe" into your "Age of Empires II" folder.
2. Run "SetupAoC.exe" (admin privileges may be required).
3. Select the feature checkboxes to install.
4. Uncheck the "Port forwarding support" checkbox.
5. Hold the Ctrl+Alt keys and click "Install".
That fixed my issue, thanks!Hey Farnaz_,
I have the same problem.
Scripter64, however, said this could be a solution for some players, see if it works for you:
