The wolf blocks the boar and wolves do less DPS than a boar chasing a vill... this has nothing to do with the LOS of the gaia units.he was just the first one to think about why you don't lose the boar when a wolf starts hunting your boar lure vil. this just shows how few people actually think about how and why the game works.. with this contribution twest advanced the understanding of aoc much more than e.g. viper (who himself did nothing but slightly changing old build orders due to chris, etc. - nothing really original).
Yea two wolves are a bigger problem, because they are really good at running past eachother and not blocking. Maybe the Gaia LOS has an effect if you have plenty of wolves chasing you, but this happens rarely.well what if 2 or more wolfs hunt you? While this is not typical perhaps, most uf us had this pleasure on bf or elsewhere. How much LOS does a boar have? Imagine a long wolf train with a boar at the end

He edited his post to boar from villager. Pretty sure he would have corrected me from the start if I missread it. His post makes way more sense now when it says boar instead of vill, so my job here is done. The wolf blocks the boar and wolves do less DPS than a boar chasing a vill... this has nothing to do with the LOS of the gaia units.he was just the first one to think about why you don't lose the boar when a wolf starts hunting your boar lure vil.
Did you misread this as you wouldn't lose the villager? Because that appears to be the hypothesis you are trying to falsify. The blocking you mention is precisely why a villager might fall out of a boar's line of sight while a wolf chases, yet in reality the boar keeps chasing. I believe that is the point BMAPC187 is trying to make.
