(Update April 29th: Download and reinstall WK Titans of Arina Mod! see below)
Titans of Arina (ToA) is a 2v2 Team Event played on the map Arina (1800 HP Walls: Link) featuring some 1v1s between the teams as well. Everybody is welcome to sign up. This tournament will have 16 Teams playing 3 rounds of Swiss System, followed by two Brackets (Gold and Bronze) of 8 Team Single Elimination.
If more Teams sign up, there will be a short Qualification stage and I may add a Lower Bracket with similar Settings. Depending on the number of sign-ups, it’s possible that some Teams won’t need to play the Qualification stage and go to Swiss System directly.
Important: I would like to have a lot of decisions about the Match Settings be made or confirmed by the players, not the host/admins alone. Please tell me if you (the players) think something is needs to be changed because it is unfair/boring/stupid/etc.

1.)
All Games will be played on Voobly.com in the Tournament Lobby using
- WK Titans of Arina Mod ( LINK ) based on WololoKingdoms Mod WK 5.7 ( LINK )
(how to install WK Titans of Arina Mod: (YT Tutorial). If there is still problems with the mod, go ahead and play without ToA Mod. In this case, slinging stone in castle age is allowed, all other sling only from imperial age players)
- Userpatch v1.5 Beta R6
- VCOM Ladder
- the map "Arina" ( LINK )
(Addition to the Rules: Playing in Medieval Siege Lobby using Match Stats Only is allowed)
2.)
Sportsmanship and Fair Play are essential in this tournament. Every Player must respect their opponents. Cheating of any kind, Smurfing, bad behavior, insults, racism, flaming, etc. will not be tolerated. Cheating includes the usage of any sort of macro, account sharing and getting help of a third person (likely cases are spectators or twitch viewers). Not following the rules may lead to penalties up to an immediate disqualification from this and future tournaments.
3.)
Admin Action: If any rules are broken or anything out of the ordinary happens, Admins will talk to the players to find a solution. Admin Wins and Admin Losses should be avoided if possible.
Important: If the players can agree on a solution without Admins, that’s also appreciated. Players have a lot of experience and know how certain situations should be handled.
Admin Decision: If no solution can be agreed on by the Players, then Admins are required to make a decision. In severe cases, Admin Action can be skipped and decisions can be made without hearing the players.
4.)
Scheduling and Playing the Games:
All games need to be played within the given timeframe. Playing games at an earlier time is allowed (if that’s possible). Any delays require Admin Action.
It is strongly recommended to post all available times on the relevant scheduling forum on AoEZone. Once players agree on a time, they need to post and confirm this time using GMT in the relevant scheduling topic. If the players cannot agree on a time, Admin Action is required.
Not showing within 30 minutes of the confirmed time (for evidence purposes, the waiting team is required to take a screenshot showing the game room and the current time) will lead to Admin Action. Rescheduling is the preferred option in this case.
(Check your GMT on AoEZone.net or at http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx )
5.)
Recorded Games and Drops/Disconnections:
All games need to be recorded. Admins will post the results and upload the recorded game files to the relevant forums.
In case of disconnections/drops, the game must be saved and restored. If restoring is not working, Admin Action is required. If Admins are not able to download all parts of a dropped game from voobly.com, the players are required to send the recorded game files to the Admins.
6.)
Spectating and Streaming
This tournament is open for streamers and spectators. Players are allowed and welcome to stream their PoV, but the opponents can ask to put a 2 minute delay. (Any spectator being disrespectful can be kicked from the Lobby)
7.)
Rules can be added or changed during the tournament. Players will be informed about those changes on AoEZone.
All Games will be played on Voobly.com in the Tournament Lobby using

Restarts
For Bo3 or Bo5, each Team has one Restart.
For Bo7 or Bo9, each Team has two Restarts.
A restart must be requested no longer than 4 minutes of game time (remember that this is shorter than real minutes). The Player or Team that requests a Restart must resign. When a game is restarted, the civilizations must be the same as in the previous attempt.
Admin Restarts
In case of a bugged map, either Team can ask for an Admin Restart. Admins may message the players if a map is bugged. Admin Restarts must be requested no longer than 6 minutes of game time.
Restarts in G3 (1v1s): If a Team has not called their restart(s) yet, either player can call for a restart in their 1v1s.
Bugged Maps - unfinished, changes or additions are possible
A Map is considered bugged if:
- Villager or Scout is stuck
- 8 Sheep, 2 Boars and 3/4 Deer need to be available for moving or luring to TC
- Berries (6 Forage Bushes), Main Gold (7 tiles), 2nd and 3rd Gold (each with 4 tiles), Main Stone (5 tiles) and 2nd Stone (4 tiles) must be accessible in a way that you can place the respective Building to gather the resources; Main Gold needs at least 5 sides free to mine, Main Stone needs at least 4 sides free to mine
- One Player cannot go to the middle area of the map without deleting his walls or gate
- Walls of two players touch or cross
- One Player doesn’t have a reasonable woodline (Player cannot build a lumbercamp inside the area of his walls to gather wood)
Important: Players usually know best when their map should be considered bugged. In this case, they should pause the game and ask either an Admin and/or the opposing Team for an Admin Restart.
