Funny thing is that all replies against the decision(except one) are from people under 1800 ratin on ara. And I also think that any funito's post should not be considered, the only thing he knows is ara huns foward with m@a
Jesus, dude.
I've let your awful takes slide for a while since you're ostensibly a nice guy but get a grip. You're like 28 years old and still seem to think achieving a high Voobly rating in a 15-year old game makes you smarter than everyone else.
Trust me- it doesn't. Grow up and do something worthwhile with your life. Then you'll begin to understand how little AoC has to do with basic intelligence and logical reasoning skills.
This
I was 400 points ahead of you when we used to play aoc at the same time.
But i wasn't that stupid to not realize that the better thing for life is quitting aoc once you're near 20 even if you love it.
Now i can laugh about people in their late twenties crying about 1k tourneys.
Maybe since you're expert now you are the master of judgement, the 2.4k of ethic knowledge. Maybe you're devouring Kant and Spinoza books while hosting TGs. Who knows.
Let's face it. Why spoiling the fun? The crowd loves Tim
Tim was really taking an advantage from doing that? No. A potential one? Lets face it, no, since were subjective to judge him as a cheater lets be subjectives to see if the cheat was really a cheat.
Why he did it? No idea. Maybe he has with cheating a relation like kleptomaniacs with stealing.
He was cheating? Yes imo, but it was in a very naif way.
We would accuse of cheating someone instead of Tim doing the same withouth Tim's antecedents? Probably not
Tim can explain himself? No, he cant speak, and if he does would be disappointing and i would stop supporting him
If they only punished happy and didnt punish Tim, that would be nonsense. Tim clearly did that on purpose and without his collaboration Happy wont be able to do that on his own. The punishment should be disincentive to prevent further cases like this, if they only take action against Happy, Tim(or any other player) can allow the same thing without the fear of getting punished.
Btw i can understand you find the desicion wrong and express your ideas about it(though i didnt see any post about a logical explanation of how Tim and Happy didnt fix the games), but saying the admins are stupid and evil is the most ******est thing that can be said. This is a complete voluntary job, Taff/other admins are doing this just to help community, they are not playing in the tourney, they dont gain anything from the loss of Tim. Also i wonder what would you say if the admin desicion was 'there is nothing suspicious about those games, that strategy of Happy is completely viable, no action taken'
Like i told you, what kind of proof do you expect? If you have some knowledge/experience about the game you can clearly see that teutons game is %100 fixed.
Most of the ppl in this topic dont realise how ridiculous strategy that is. Its like Barcelona beating Real Madrid without using a goalkeeper and any defenders.

In most of HUN wars TiM has been doing knights, sometimes not even walling fully. Current Meta Cav Archs are the way to go in castle age, everyone knows that and agrees. most of the casters were also pointing out this. But still Tim did this and won some games too.
Just because he did not go for an optimal strategy you decided he fixed the game!!
It's ridicolous how people are giving the **** to Taff for this decision. Some of these accounts seem to exist in Aoczone just do cry and ***** about everything the voobly staff does. Yes, it may be a bit harsh decision to nullify the score without giving a chance to replay the games, but how can seriously anyone with half a brain argue that the teutons game was not staged - giving happyhappy the max points?
I watched the teuton game and sorry while you can speculate there is no absolute certainty that it was staged. Tim might not have realised the hole he had and if he stayed walled he could get to castle age and own the weak fc eco.
I think the decision is correct.
In a "real life" court case you can't prove someone guilty unless there are clear evidences of a crime. But in our case you can't very often expect any evidence becasue so is the nature of a "crime" (cheating or manipulating with the score). So the only reasonable guidance is just common sence, which admins used.
My common sence also tells me that tim and happyhappy deliberately did what they did, are guilty and deserve punishment.
It is debatable what kind of punishment should it be but it would have anyway influenced the outcome of the group stage for both players one way or another. Sad but fair

seems like people also didnt saw that tim even killed a without loom villager with his scout even though he could just run into enemys tc :!:
@Mango, i agree with you about unusual strategies might pay off but come on..
This is not an unusual strategy with %10 chance to win you the game, this is a complete suicide. Apart from no wall, no loom, he didnt even scout what Tim is doing whole game.. Few militias or scouts would kill him instantly, yet he was so sure that Tim wont attack him.
Carlos Ferdinand: Like I say it is well possible that it was a rigged or non serious game but you can't be certain.
if it would be me vs zuppi doing this ****, 90% of ppl here arguing in favor of tim would say we both should get banned for life
