Games that are restarted must be included when posting recorded games of the match. When a game is restarted, the civilizations and the map must be the same as in the previous attempt.
§3
Any graphical changes that only affect the player's SWGB are allowed.
§4
Cheating is not allowed under any circumstances. Players using any kind of cheat will be disqualified and mocked viciously. Any sort of macro will count as cheating and the respective player/team using macros will get instantly disqualified from this tournament.
§5
All the game settings provided in this post MUST be followed. Not following them may result in penalties and possibly disqualification.
Rules and Stuff
§6All teams must respect the Tournament schedule and times for each round. There will be NO exceptions or delays granted to ANY team. No excuse will be accepted for failing to play in the specified time. If the admin staff determine that a player is trying to avoid scheduling and playing the tournament games, the player may be warned, receive an admin loss for the game or match or be disqualified from the Wookiee Life Day 2017-2018 SWGB Boonta Eve Classic.
§7
If both teams cannot come to an agreement in scheduling their match, tournament staff will analyze the situation, schedule, and time zones, in order to add a viable Admin Time that suits both teams, to the best of our ability.
§8
Every player must respect their opponent. Bad behavior (determined by staff) will result in a warning and may lead to an immediate disqualification. This tournament values not only great skills, but also sportsmanship and fairness. Any insult, racism or flaming will not be tolerated. Laming and mind games in game are allowed. As is spinning. Spinning’s a good trick.
§9
No disintegrations.
§10
All games are to be played in the Voobly SWGB Lobby.
§11
Matches can be scheduled in the WLDSWGBBEC forum, but other ways are fine as well. Most important, confirmed times have to be announced publicly in the scheduling forum (this is important for admins, spectators and streamers). If there is no agreement about the playing time by Thursday 23.59 GMT, the staff might start interfering in order to get the games scheduled and completed in time.
§12
In case of disconnections, the game must be saved and restored. All of the .mg1 recorded game files (multiple parts of the game before/after drop) must be provided when posting the recorded games. If restoring is not possible, the recorded game should be provided, along with any additional information to the admins. Subsequently, facts will be analyzed and a final decision made.
§13
Once two teams have arranged and confirmed a time to play, the maximum waiting time is 30 minutes. If one of the players/teams fails to arrive in time, the waiting team must take a screenshot showing http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx (so the current time is clearly visible) with the game room, and send the screenshot to an admin. Do not try to edit time arrangement posts in an attempt to get free wins, because our forum registers the exact date and hour of each edited post. Such actions are considered cheating, and the offender will be punished.
§14
If a game is not recorded, it must be replayed regardless of result and evidence of it.
§15
Recorded games of all stages will be uploaded by players to the recorded games subforum.
§16
By signing up for the tournament you agree to have all your games streamed and casted by streamers and co-casters watching the recorded games. Or if by some miracle live spectating happens, that too.
§17
New rules can be added and current rules can be changed (including gaming rules). However, Admins MUST inform the Players about such changes.
§18
If you make an epic comeback, you must type “Now THIS is podracing” in game chat.
§19
Signups close 12/25/2017 at 23:59:59 GMT and 1st round games must be played by 1/6/2018
§20
The tournament will be double elimination with random seeding. If anyone can think of a more fair format, let me know.
§66
Kill all Jedi.
§69
