"Allowing you to stream games in your personal channel from tournaments we spend hundreds, thousands of hours organizing would be breaking that deal we have with the volunteers and therefore ruin the project that has taken us THIS far. And while it would be awesome to reunite the communities as I said and the "right move" from a purely business point of view, it would break principles."
In a quote from MasMoRa from this thread. I must ask why is is okay for you to break your own principles by allowing nc_pedro to stream WSVG games on his personal channel. I understand that he is doing this in German for German viewers specifically and this is a great thing; allowing AoC to reach a broader audience right?
So what agreement is there in place with nc_pedro, is he to give a % of donations to Voobly for your organization of the event or is he obliged to advertise for you in any given ways? The reason I ask is because when I offered to do these things in order to stream tournament matches to a broader audience than the Voobly channel I am told no, time after time, even when trying to offer compromise on the matter. (By compromise I mean offering revenue share and advertisements).
Thanks.
