Why we cant let it run? I am sure there are strategies against it.
also i think its a mistake to not attack the slinger.
And if someone becomes useless for the team after dying, maybe they should just try not to die.
Maybe because 1tc crossbows player usually has their villagers on wood and gold to produce crossbows and very little number of farms, only to sustain villager production and afford crossbow upgradesI always wondered why nobody uses a half sling.
For example an archer civ staying 1 tc in castle age and slinging surplus food to kts ally while making archers himself (which only cost wood/gold). Both player still have armies, but kts player has extra food for bigger boom/more kts/faster imp/faster ups.
Ah yeah forgot about thatThe wall changes were included in the nc mod. Half hp in feudal age, increased cost and build time.
Ah yeah forgot about that
Couldn't disagree more with that statement. All in all sling games have more action, high tension and are more exciting, resulting into better team play.
I'm not sure if that is possible. @TriRem @scripter64

It's pretty clear whether it should be nerfed or not when almost every single top players agrees on one thing.
IMO, it shouldn't be a viable strategy at all, no team should be able to go into a game with the slinging mindset and get away with it. In a 3v3 game, slinging from one side takes all kind of coordination and teamwork out of the equation from both sides
