Hi, im JB for people who dont know me yet . Normally i got quite a nasty mouth, but this time i would like to start a somewhat humoristic 'intellectual' topic about peoples POV's about the world.
I was reading some funny stuff on voobly forum today when i stumbled upon some guy ratling about the holy saint santa clause murdering kids in the past and how ironically children now idolise him.
It ended up in writing some stuff my little brain came up with in my very short life so far  . Il post it here to, to hopefully get some 'intellectual' stuff going on voobly, if thats even possible  .
Feel free to post your idea's about the world, but please dont start personal flame wars etc. Respect eachothers opinions and believes, and dont make it personal! We cant all be right. There is only one truth, but no one knows for 100% sure what it is and if you do you are a psycho and fooling yourself!
Feel free to say i am wrong, why he is wrong etc, then say what you believe. But dont call people ******s idiots etc just because they want to believe that at the other side of the rainbow there is a pot of gold because 200 years ago a novelist wrote it is so.
Its ok to reply with: Well, last time i checked, its nothing more then light shining through the rain which breaks the light into diffrent colors and i doubt anyone is going to put a pot of gold on the 'other' side of it especially in these kind of harsh economic circumstances .
OK here we go:
'Just some toughts i have come up with when i couldnt sleep, staring at the stars . Just read them carefully and try to keep your mind as 'objective' as you can, as emotions are always a cloud to true logical thinking. If you go deeply into the true meaning of your own emotions, why they are there in the first place you can understand why people always keep fooling themselves. Its human nature to fool yourself just to make life easier and sometimes they even make it harder, wtf!!.
These thoughts are really only how i see the world, and everyone is free (in my opinion) to think whatever they want as long as they dont bug me LOL. But i know i am right and you not, muhaha. (psycho!!!)
-Religion is part of the evolution of mankind. The whole sense of god is nothing more then a feeling created to sustain self awareness. Why are we here?, whats the reason of life?, etcetera. People need answers and by creating a fictional god people can live their lives more easily when these fundamental questions are answered. Of course having a religion can also be used as a huge drive for social cohesion and since we are social animals who thrive through cooperation, its a huge benefit if you 'believe' in darwin or just make logical conclusions . But not all people need this 'god feeling' nowadays when information is easier to get every day and by using the information we get its nothing more then logical to conclude that believing in a god who created the universe is truly nonsense, but understandable.
-Infinity is proberbly the answer of many questions. When we realise the universe is infinite, time is infinite and therefore size is infinite, we can see the world, the universe as it truly is. We are huge, normal, tiny, in diffrent perspectives. But these arent proven facts and most likely humanity wont ever be able to prove this. We arent even able to imagine it, are we? In the end even science will be somewhat of a 'religion' itself as humans themselves are limited creatures. So dont be to harsh on people who believe christ is gods child, mohammed heard allah speaking to him etc.
But who knows. Maybe we can beat the odds of the apocalypse and become ultra smart and learn through science truly everything about the universe. But if time is infinate, there will be some entity that will be able to understand it eventually so wish it luck .
Just think about this easy question:
If you draw a theoretical line in your head on your desk, from north to south, then keep drawing it right into the stars and beyond, and keep going. The line will go on forever as time wont end, and the space wont end.
The line will become infinitely long, but it wont become infinitely small as there is a point of beginning. Looking at the world in this way, there cant be any 'nothing' but there should be a start. But what is the flaw of thinking here?
The dot you put on your desk when you start drawing the line! The line originated from that very spot itself. So the line is both infinately long as it is small. Because the very dot you made exists of molecules, atoms and beyond. If matter is infinate and you can subdivide it with no ending, remember, size is infinite, there was no real start to begin with. It was only in our minds because we need to understand the world to cope with it. People who cant accept the dot is infinately 'small' and they will need a 'start of the line' are most likely religious. (You, God, created the dot/start of the line!) ^^. But if you accept that the dot is infinitely small without proven fact, you are a religious freak aswell. So goodluck with that, haha.'
