A very mature answer.
Thanks for proving my point.
It takes a lot of work being a tournament admin. I remember the legion tournament admins stopped entering the tournaments, not because of a conflict of interest, simply because of the amount of time it takes.
It is also a thankless job, if things go smoothly, you just spent a lot of your time, and if anything is controversial because the rules were not 100% crystal clear at the start, you will get blamed.
The admins are trying their best to be fair, by setting rules, and asking that if you sign up that you agree to following them. Does anyone think that what Bacgio did is truly *helping* the AoC community? If he was unpunished do you think that more people would be alright with doing the same thing next time around? Can you come to a reasonable argument otherwise...?
While I can understand the rationale of the decision but what this poll proves is a vast majority of people had different opinions from the admin team. All I say is admin team should acknowledge it, take note and move on.. No point arguing with numbers..Wouldnt that be just making **** up on the fly? And how do we know he will have winnings with which to punish?
We wanna treat people the same. If some 2k guy who would be a fringe contender for cash did what he did, we would need to do things the same.
Fair point.. sounds goodNot arguing numbers at all. And Id be willing to bet the community poll results would be more biased than people making the administrative decisions. People always wanna see top guys play, where as we need to try to treat people the same.
We've already taken plenty of notice of what changes could be made going forward.
