On the contrary, this is the first admin decision that I dont find the most appropriate. The rules dont necessarily state a DQ in this case, and especially considering the unprecedented nature of the situation it was avoidable. The fact that the tournament could have moved ahead with a softer punishment for bacgioifro without causing permanent damage(unlike in other cases) just bothers me.I can't believe this poll and thread 11. I'm probably one of the biggest non-Vietnamese bacgio fans and I have no doubt that he should have been disqualified. The admins have made some very questionable decisions in this tournament, but this is not one of them.
Sure thing. The decision was taken in a haste and then silence was the rule until the next round kicked in to make sure the decision is irreversible, which is now the case. Instead of providing bacgioifro (and the part of the community that disagrees, but that's less important) with a decent reason the reason is "it's too late now anyway".Buy time? Please elaborate.
It could have potentially delayed the tournament if they re did the earlier rounds. Common sense.
