If it's so easy that 1500s can pull it off no sweat all of the time, why did "pro" (19-2.2k)players consistently fail to in KOTD r064? Like it or not, the evidence seems to indicate that currently even with an ideal lame (minimal scout damage, no lost res or idle time of your own or inefficient res gathering during lame, failure of defender to anticipate or account for their boar -- some call this lucky,) is successful it can give you an advantage (but not win you a game,), but a failed lame certainly can lose you a game.
1500s also pull off great micro, does that mean micro needs to be nerfed? I'm not sure anecdotally pulling a successful lame clip by the undisputed best player, or any player in the game proves anything about laming is broken anymore than a map generation with all forward res is broken and we all need identical maps and resource generation. IMO that would be pretty boring.
