From now on, you will be called, The Devils Lawer.then you should obviously retain from commenting if you have nothing to say.
The gaslighting here is getting quite sad.And how is it relevant if you have no interest in aoe4 or not? You probably have no interest in their street fighter tournament either so why you care? You don't have to watch aoe4 tournament just like you don't watch other redbull tournaments. also you haven't told us what "cannibalizing " means and how aoe4 would do that. Also where it is stated redbull wololo is aoe2 brand rather than redbull entry to aoe franshise? How redbull doing aoe4 would have any effect on aoe2 tournament?
Do you also think that FE making upcoming AoE3:DE DLC "cannibalized " aoe2:DE dynasties of india ? why you think its justified to think so just because FE started by aoe2 forgotten empires expansion
Why would aoe4 community not be happy with this lol? Do you guys even stop to think before posting? This is what normal people feel about rbw. I've been put off by some of the vocal aoe2 community who do bs moves. When the news of new rbw was out, majority of reactions were
Aoe4 community: oh that is so cool. I really enjoyed rbw5 lan event.
Aoe2 community: i hope its not aoe4. Its so cringe people are apparently spamming rbw discord asking for no aoe4 content.
Surely that's gonna send great vibes about aoe community to the redbull community managers, etc.
Some of you complain when people host aoe4 events instead of aoe2
Then you have a tournament that is gonna have both (most likely) and you still manage to complain
Wtf is wrong with you
It is you who should think before posting. Redbull allegedly announced it would be a tourney across age titles. You can doubt all you like, most people just aren't vengeful trolls. Why would aoe4 community not be happy with this lol? Do you guys even stop to think before posting?
And equivalent scenario would be a hypothetical GoldenLeague 2 being mix of aoe2 and aoe4. You think aoe4 fans would be happy with it? I doubt.
When brother 1 works and builds up the pie, and brother 2 swoops in to take a share of the pie. The brother 1 is the crying selfish baby if he doesn't want to share. You seem just like a crying selfish baby when gets a brother and want all for yourself instead of sharing
So what it started with aoe2 and now has aoe4 together, if you dont enjoy watching it just close the stream the days its another game instead of aoe2
The tournament was built around what fit the gameplay Redbull wanted to see.People won't complain if a tournament built around aoe2, stays aoe2 exclusive. Not so hard to understand, is it?
The gaslighting here is getting quite sad.
1. By the very (potential) design of the upcoming RB tournament, aoe4 is intertwined.
So, it's not like they are separate tournaments.
Also, their street fighter tournament isn't named Redbull Wololo, nor is mixed up with aoe2. What kind of comparison is that lol?
2. All five RB Wololo tournaments were aoe2 tournaments, and were built around aoe2. Similar to how NAC was also built around aoe2.
Next you're going to argue Euroleague (or whatever it's called) going into rugby in an alternate verse is just "Euroleague was just entry into the broad franchise of playing with balls, not just football." Clown logic
3. What does cannibalize mean in this context?
Taking tournaments clearly "built around" aoe2 and putting aoe4 in it. Instead of building their own damn tournaments.
4. False equivalence again with aoe2:de and aoe3:de. They are completely different products.
Nobody is arguing that Nili or RedBull hypothetically creating a completely different tournament for aoe4 is aoe4 cannibalizing aoe2.
When it's NAC4 (don't come at me with "it's N4C and different") and RB Wololo VI? Yeah, it would be.
Why would aoe4 community not be happy with this lol? Do you guys even stop to think before posting?
And equivalent scenario would be a hypothetical GoldenLeague 2 being mix of aoe2 and aoe4. You think aoe4 fans would be happy with it? I doubt.
You can use that argument for every single tournament for any game in the world. The tournament was built around what fit the gameplay Redbull wanted to see.
How would that benefit Redbull? They certainly have their reasons for wanting to expand to AoE4 (pros from other games, exciting new meta, etc.).
Point noted.Right now we know nothing of the format so it is rather pointless to already be complaining.
You seem just like a crying selfish baby when gets a brother and want all for yourself instead of sharing
So what it started with aoe2 and now has aoe4 together, if you dont enjoy watching it just close the stream the days its another game instead of aoe2
I never knew Red Bull sells fleshlights. How bangable are they? Any lube needed? Asking for a friend. If your wife is cheating on you, just let her bang as many dudes as she feels like it. No problem.
And if she never wants to touch your little friend ever again. just never complain about it. You do not want to be a crying selfish baby. Am I right?
I guess if they switch between games during a day then they will stream on 2 different channels and have AoE4/2 happening at the same time for the early stages, as they did with some games at RBW5.If they jump from one game to the other during the day, I will definitely not watch live, but only the VOD to be able to skip aoe4 I guess..
dont argue with The Devils Lawer, he just dont see reality, he sees his reality. You can use that argument for every single tournament for any game in the world.
So, conclusion would be that no tournament was built around any game.
How would that benefit Redbull?
They aren't Microsoft, and hence aren't interested in sales of aoe4 (or aoe2).
The primary interest of Redbull would be viewership, as is the case of any external sponsor.
Unless, they're purely doing it for the enjoyability of the game. In which case, I do get your point.
IMO, 99.99% chance is that they are having aoe4 included here because Microsoft is a big sponsor of the tournament as well, and MS would want aoe4 included there. Which does make sense, because MS wants to sell copies of aoe4,
Point noted.
If it's like, they do aoe4 tournaments first and then aoe2 tournaments (or vice verse), it honestly wouldn't be as bad.
LITERALLY what people are asking and wondering, are they going to be separate events that you can easily tune in to or skip but appears you have the answers? Maybe you can share them with us.You don't have to watch aoe4 tournament just like you don't watch other redbull tournaments.
I think it also heavily depends on how many players per game (and the format). If it's only 8 or even less, then you could potentially still arrange it to have matches from 2 games on the same day.I would also prefer to have it be 2 completely separate events (assuming it's only aoe 2 and 4).
But does Red Bull really want to rent the whole castle for 2 full weeks or however long it would take to run 2 events separately?
Maybe they do, they've done crazier things before, but I suspect they will probably run them both at the same time and maybe only the semi-finals/finals would be played one after the other.
When brother 1 works and builds up the pie, and brother 2 swoops in to take a share of the pie. The brother 1 is the crying selfish baby if he doesn't want to share.
Amazing logic 11
That's a really good point.I think it also heavily depends on how many players per game (and the format). If it's only 8 or even less, then you could potentially still arrange it to have matches from 2 games on the same day.
either way you can choose to not watch. be it aoe2 or aoe4 or whole RBW. no need to make big deal about whenever you watch or not, that's your personal choiceLITERALLY what people are asking and wondering, are they going to be separate events that you can easily tune in to or skip but appears you have the answers? Maybe you can share them with us.
How is Red Bull Wololo a brand built around aoe2? How would aoe4 RBW have any effect on aoe2? You're just being ridiculous now. Entry to aoe franchise, lol.
Except that doesn't work because it's exactly what this isn't. Like I said before, it is not charity from Microsoft or Red Bull. They do tournaments because it is in their interest, not because they love the fan base.I think it’s more like “someone is making free food for you”. Now they chose to make different free food for you, and you complain. That’s what makes you come across as a selfish baby, to stay in the analogy
What constitutes "making a big deal about it", writing a post on aoezone that I won't be watching aoe4? Might as well shut down the forum if these discussions are something that shouldn't be happening. Everything written here is an opinion and personal choice after all.either way you can choose to not watch. be it aoe2 or aoe4 or whole RBW. no need to make big deal about whenever you watch or not, that's your personal choice
