+1It would be helpful to explain where I went wrong in my reasoning rather than just saying "shut up 14xx noob."
For example, the combination of hussar, mangudai, and siege onager is countered completely by massed bombard towers. You use rams? I have onagers behind the towers. You use trebuchets? I have trebuchets too.
The problem with some people is they dismiss some theory as bullshit, conveniently assuming a very specific case, like post imp with so researched etc when talking about eskirm v emangs. There are surely situations when eskirm, with fullups can counter emangs, with some combo unit. Its funny when someone tells eskirm counter mangudai, others jump up with a "eskirm is totally useless vs emangs becos we make so/sram". Dont forget that skirm player wont be using skirm alone. Like spanish/hun with paladin and eskirm for example, while this loses in a really massed scenario, doesnt mean it never works!
If only 14xx use skirmishers against mangudai/allow skirmishers to be used against mangudai, then why did DauT use them against Chris? Which one is the 14xx there? Map was Yucatan, Mongol war.

There's the recorded game if you don't believe me.
Please note that I am NOT saying mangudai don't need nerf. I believe it when 2xxx tell me something about the mechanics of a game, but just don't use hyperbole to explain or completely dismiss everything anyone under 20xx says. John and Carlos, for example, are not pro players, but they've gotten themselves where they are through 1v1 Arabia majoring in infantry. It would be helpful to explain where I went wrong in my reasoning rather than just saying "shut up 14xx noob."

I will upload the Mongols vs Teutons game in question, which was played on highland, not BF. Both players are 16xx, not 14xx. You can tell me where my opponent went wrong, and I will accept what you tell me.
Basically, I believe Mongols are overpowered, but not invincible.
I dont like this idea.
ranged units are overpowered anyway 11Soldiers with more hitpoints will affect balance, since ranged units will be less powerful.
A good idea would be to allow all resources (or selected ones) to last longer a la Mayan bonus with a Wonder research. Villagers working faster will only increase the need for micro at farms and lumbers.
If the Magyar Huszar is going to have a large attack bonus vs. villagers (couldn't remember if it was a given bonus or tech to research, just remember seeing it being something like +5 attack bonus, which is huge), then what would be wrong with a civilization (maybe the Goths maybe not the Goths) having an effective villager defense (or at least a fighting chance) to the superior raiding power of Magyar UU's? I think though that for Goths the villager bonus vs. cavalry would make the most sense because they have no walls. Just a thought.
