Re: New Expansion (updated 30 Oct: Video added)
That villager change would be so OP in late imp. Once all players have 120 vills or something like that.
THE INCAS
BONUSES
Villagers cost +40%, but work 25% faster and have 2/2 armor (just becuase I'd like to see this feature used again)
Spearman line units have 2X HPs (Incan warriors carried many different weapons into battle, on of these were battle axes of varying size, usually made from chonta wood and bladed with either copper or bone. Some of these axes were close to the length of Halberds, hence this bonus. Ok, twice the HP is almost crtainly too much, but still)
Team bonus: Infantry +2 to attack vs. cavalry (even though historically the Incas were slaughtered by the Spanish, these two bonuses should make any cavalry civ fear the Incan footmen)
Unique unit: Slinger, an anti-infantry infantry unit (Among the many ranged units Incas implemented, Slingers were among the most prominent. Incan slingers were excellent marksmen, and could throw stones at great velocity to pepper enemy lines)
Unique technology: Organization - The currently dominant unit class has +15% HPs (Incan warriors were trained to be the best they could be in the particular field they excelled in. If an Incan male happened to a good archer, he was given the bow and arrow to specalize in. Incan armies were highly disciplined and well organized as well. To further elaborate, the current class of units (e.g. Infantry, siege weapons) the player has the most of gets a minor HP bonus. Also a throwback to how Incan warfare sometimes depened on sheer numbers)
Tech tree
disabled infantry: champion (if super halbs they must lose something else)
disabled archery: cavalry archers and hand cannoneers of course, but also thumb ring
disabled cavalry: all, what else
disabled siege: bombard cannon and siege onager
disabled navy: cannon galleons, fire ships
disabled monastery: Hmm, not too sure really
disabled university: bombard tower, keep, heated shot
disabled blacksmith: all cavalry armor and last infantry armor
disabled economy: two-man saw and stone shaft mining
also, Incan trade carts should be dragged by Lamas
What do you think?
