Hi.. I am new to Voobly and enjoying it a lot.

Yes, of course you can copy the format and play it with signed-up players who can't play NAoC3. You can easily copy the codes by quoting my posts.Would it be a problem to extend the amount of groups? Just keep the prizes for the 16 worst players, but let the next 16 do the same matches and split them in 4 groups ?
It's designed for noobies, not rookies. The reason is personal: I don't want to have to administer more than a 16 players tournament. The reason is also traditional: The NAoC1 condition to be in the playing 16 was to have the most posts on AoCZone. My focus for NAoC3 is to have the most possible overall low skills. NAoC has been kind of an invitational no prize-money mini-tournament so far. This is why I don't accept your "it's unfair" argument. Anyone can organize an event like NAoC only investing time and communication and set its own participation number and rules. NAoC is not an official AoCZone or Voobly tournament. Why don't you just open NAOC3 up for more spots? Why does it have to be limited to 16, seems a bit unfair to not let people play in a tournament designed for rookies just because there are only 16 spots :S
my goodness richard, you still wouldnt be allowed in the tournament, even with 32 player...so just chill and drink your tea Kappa
Already a stunning 40 sign-ups, I didn't expect such high interest and I feel very happy about it. Even pure NPL players who registered a half year ago on Voobly and wrote their first post on AoCZone to sign-up are in.

This is amazing, I didn't think there'd be so many signups. I think it's fine to keep it at just 16 participants considering pumukel is running it himself. There's clearly a lot of demand for more noob events though so hopefully somebody will step up (not me).

Thanks for volunteering condom!! <3
I luckily have prv_limb who will help me. But that doesn't mean the difference between 16 and 32 becomes irrelevant. (Team work means communication work, 32 instead of 16 individuals can cause more complex challenges.) Of course we could add a week with a single elimination qualification stage with little effort. But such a move would be opposite to the attitude in which the current format was designed.I think it's fine to keep it at just 16 participants considering pumukel is running it himself.
Thanks for notifying in time. Anybody is welcome to think a second time about his sign-up. It's better if the resignation happens before than during the tournament.I retire my registration for very lack of time, sorry guys
