So i guess in conclusion for now: Castle Age start with a tweak to the map could be very enjoyable and more fast paced. After reading metal's post i must say that i might have disregarded a 2-3 tc defense too much, 1 TC push only seems really strong if you dont really adapt the build accordingly to castle age start it seems (more on wood early, only 6 on food until 2nd tc, followed by a fast 3rd). The point still is that we cant really know how it will really play out, most importantly in non mirror matches, so it demands a lot more test playing, because the settings werent too much of a problem for mirror matches to start with imo. If in the end push vs boom (and other strategies) are as favored as before i think swissboy should definitely go for the faster paced version.
