Alright so I just played a team game that went to about an hour and a half until our inevitable downfall. We mostly lost cause my angry pocket got angry and left, because we were getting pushed back even though we had dozens of Turk bombtowers to hold the line and regroup
My usual approach is usually passive, aggressive with mostly trash and siege while building 70-90 trade carts depending on the civ and my angry pocket I think maxed at like 20 trade carts, but had more units fighting than I did most of the time, granted they were mostly Halberdier and Skirmisher's, but I did have bombard tower's holding the line. So my question is is it worth it to go to such a high amount of trade? Would it be a better idea to stop at 20 and use the extra gold/wood/population on more units at the time? Is a smaller population of pure gold units worse than a bigger population with gold, but mostly trash?
