Would players prefer weekly tourneys but less prize money or monthly tourneys but higher prize money? Question i asked on stream but too late lol. Also are show matches something people wanna see? I mean akeno vs klavskis was lit.

Maybe weekly, but different elo ranges each week would be great. Give more players a chance to play. Not sure the same players would want to play every week anyway. I might have entered the last one, but none of my games would have been competitive, so wouldn't really have been worth it for anyone.

This would add in a few headaches around smurf accounts, people playing on friends' accounts and so on. Hera's Potato Cup and the Gbeto Cup come to mind. But it shouldn't be a major issue, and the increased participation would be worth it.

The accounts need 50+ games on it and as for playing on other accounts Im good enough to tell if theyre smurfing hard. Also we have plenty of players who will be watching and can let me know if its bad. ELO ranges can have its issues but overall shouldne be a big deal because if we did leagues we would just promote players to a higher division.

Im thinking of doing at least two $100 tourneys a month or I could do $100 show matches but obviously thats a little different. I would run tournaments every week but just not sure if I can do prize money. Would anyone even do something like that? Maybe we could do DE keys for prizes the next few tourneys?

Lower elo players are happy to play without prize money. There are plenty of viewer tourneys organised through pro players' discords that are just for fun. DE keys would certainly raise a lot of interest. Anything for amateurs is always very welcome. Your efforts are much appreciated!

I would like to have tournaments with Elo limits so that other players have a chance to will tournaments aswell. For example <2,1k or 2k, < 1800 or something like that. Because if you see some of the very big names sign up already, it is not that motivated to play (at least for me personally)

I think weekly could be a bit too frequent. Maybe every 2 weeks? Also i think a small Prize always helps alot in motivation. Doesnt have to be much, but even playin for 10 or 20 bucks or a DE Key like you mentioned (as examples) makes the games way more serious and competetive, in my opinion.
Elo limits are becoming quite popular lately, you gotta figure out yourself how you wanna deal with that.

In general i really wanna thank you for doing these little day Tournaments. Great effort and really appreciated, although i couldnt participate in any of them (yet).

Hi Snyper, Yes I am all for doing different ELO tournaments. Normally in us open/national events there are different categories. What I've done in the past is below 1800, 1800-2100, and above 2100.
