Ooh I like maps, bo3 for finals might be possible, but at the moment that would make it about a 4-5 hour tournament. Not sure if everyone will be able to commit to that.

Feels anticlimatic to not have a finals at least be Best of Three but I get the point of time constraints.
Each player gets 1 homemap of their choosing (should be a land map in the spirit of the tournament) would be cool, so in case you actually reach the finals you have some chances to come back and prepare.

Other than that, I love that the series continues, really appreciated to see it return!

I agree that best of 3, 5,and 7 are way more exciting to watch, but time is really tough. I think we would more than likely do that for higher prize tourneys and also multi day tourneys, but in the interest of time I'll leave it up to the players for now.

Since almost everyone registered is from this thread are people up for a bo3 Final? Also I've been watching ECL and they have some great formats, wondering if we should try something like that? I'll work on making a map/civ banner too. I'd like a larger pool of maps if we can help it. If you have any suggestions for map pool let me know.
