Yeah, from my perspective (i don't care at all about all of this but, you know, everyone likes drama) seems like her boyfriend is just using her for the registration to the tournament (oh look, i'm a woman lol givePlz) allowing him to smurf for that juicy prizepool. The first post was alright (i think you got me and many other people), but many kind of excuses are rising and they look pretty much weird.

She's saying she only had the recs in which she played with other people, right? How do we will know who has played those games (her or her BF?)? Deleting ALL the recs with the games against her BF (but not the others for unknown reasons, guess why? they never exsist and they will be made asap)... come on, sounds so silly.

I really hope i'm wrong and i never really wanted to spread all that hate, but trying to abuse a tournament like that sounds so bad.

Ok I know you are angry, and get mad, but that weird words isn't necessary, maybe you can have a point but if you read and try to understand, isn't good to try to break the tournament because you can't stay, as I was telling in the sign ups is hard to coordinate and prove you are a women, I'm not saying you are not a women, but is suspicious when you don't have games played and you try to join on 1 tournament I'm telling you this because was the same for me on 1 past tournament of NPL 8 months ago, if you are exited for the cup please don't do this class of post, all you are doing is trying to make the tournament a bad idea and wasn't the original purpose, if you want play on the tournament just talk Whit sense no saying all your rage, as you see the brackets are ready and I know it was a mistake not notified to you when the sign ups was ready you can't play I don't know the reason but you must understand sometimes tournaments are like this, for example the MSC whit 10k of prizepool only "elite" players was chosen but players like Twigg Laaaaan or Heimdall wasn't in this tournament because the organizer put only the players he wanted, so you must understand this point, if she did this is because she can't trust in the info you provide, is suspicious the girl you say, but her played games and ranked maybe you played Whit your boyfriend but no ranked matches are the problem here, that and as you posted, you changed your nickname and that is suspicious maybe you did for other reasons but try to put in the place of the organizer and that move was suspicious so how you will consider this, when smurf players tried the same.

I really apologize if I was rude but only I'm telling my point cuz I saw the pictures and all the way you talked her was rude, doesn't matter if she put you out, I know the rage is dominant but if you wasn't rude maybe we had other history here.

That’s like the bare minimum of human decency. You’ve both failed to be inclusive and run a tournament at the same time. Brava.

I think the best way for female only tournaments, if you have worries of guys winning cash prizes is to allow everyone who wants to sign up, to sign up, then tell people they have to record themselves playing a game if they get into a cash position. So if they could be winning any cash in that game, record it personally at home, on a phone or some kind and then fire that over to an admin if they win. Therefore they only need to prove they are female if there will be a cash exchange.

This is absolutely ridiculous, no tournament with any male player has ever been asked for video recordings of proof that they are actually the one playing the tournament. Have a modicum of respect for the women who have registered for this event and who have spent thousands of hours to this game, just to get a fraction of the respect of the average man playing this game. Going forward should feanor and melkor have to record each and every tournament game they play, just to be sure that their brother, or their girlfriend for that matter, is not playing for them? Or perhaps viper should have to record himself playing now that he lives in the same country as jordan, just to make sure that they aren't conspiring to play for one another. Maybe I should have to live stream all my games from here on out, because if i play well it must be because "nicov could be right beside her helping her" and not because I've spent years of my life playing this game.

That being said, I am disappointed to see that many new accounts created after the tournament was announced and accounts with zero games have been signed up and allowed into the tournament. Past tournaments have had requirements with a certain number of minimum rated games played on voobly in order to register. If that had been the case here, we could have easily avoided 99% of problems.

Really, so you wouldn't find it problematic if mbl or hera or another pro decided to smurf the Finland Sauna cup for laughs and took the prize pool from a player actually qualified for the title?
