There is good reason that so many of us stick with a 15 year-old game. The dev is familiar with AoC of course (he is even using terms like "pocket/flank" "trash units" "booming" etc.) but I doubt he is familiar with the competitive side.
This is great, but I feel like many here sadly don't have the motivation for "something new". We need people from here to post feedback on their forums.
Looks like dropping off resources is not a thing
Nice small grid compared to AoC. Would be nice if they speed up the movement animation, so they do more steps and it doesn't look that slow (but you keep move rate)
