Dear Community,
Six months ago we posted this message about the new direction of VooblyOfficial. When we first began we had to pick up and reorganise the pieces of VooblyOfficial that were left to us. In the six months after our start we have spent countless amounts of hours to manage everything regarding the organisation of streams and tournaments. With people who kindly donated or subscribed to VooblyOfficial we were able to make several contributions to tournaments like Clash of the Hippo, Masters of Arabia 2v2 and recently the AoC Champions League.
We were also able to welcome several new and recurring streamers to VooblyOfficial, like col_mongo, kc_Ereon, klavskisLV, (new zealand) matty_moo_moo and Nobody41 to name a few. Together with the already present streamers on VooblyOfficial we were able to be live and cover a decent amount of matches, a big thank you to everyone involved, it would not have been possible without any of you!
After saying this, it saddens us that we have to inform you that the Community Team as it was set up six months ago will cease to exist. Due to the enormous amount of time the community activities take up and real life commitments several key members of the team had to make the decision to step down from their duties within the Community Team. Therefore we have made the decision to resign from our duties as Community Team members. What this means is that the current members of the Community Team will no longer be managing the stream scheduling for VooblyOfficial or be actively streaming on VooblyOfficial. However the administrating of tournaments will continue by several members of the current team on a personal title, this will no longer be done as part of a Voobly team.
The accounts we were managing will all keep existing like they are now, but won’t be managed by any of the current Community Team members. As part of the end of the current Community Team the control of these accounts have been passed on to chris@voobly.
Thank you,
Community Team
