then that's what we are going to haveSet up the 'AOC Department of Vocabulary', and have it run by non-native English speakers.
maybe its because thus far nobody has ever really answered my basic question, where do we stop if follow this logic,
what words do we consider worth avoiding, what words are ok and who is gonna decide it
I read somewhere that using such words made the stream appear more childish.
Scratching another topic, I'm sometimes a little disappointed watching the streams - as a player myself, I'd prefer to have a bit more focus on the strategies used (why would the player drush in this situation, which unit combinations are the teams going for,..) in comparison to very emotional responses to some incidents which aren't game decisive in TG (oh look, he lost a militia, he lost all 3 archers to a mangonel). Please don't take this critic too personal, I'm really grateful for your work and hours of streaming - just a suggestion from my side. It might be that most other watchers enjoy the hyping and would find the tactical talk more boring, after all it's a kind of entertainment.
Are there words that can be used to substitute the word "rape" in the context it is used in? Yes.
Will the use of such words end up hurting someone/causing trouble/take a lot of effort? No.
Will people be offended if we no longer use the word "rape"? No. (Well, highly unlikely, I would think).
???
Am I reaching the wrong conclusion here or...?
