First of all, I'm not accusing anyone, in fact I'm saying that people shouldn't accuse anyone (neither Memb or Canabliz) until they know more facts.
Nice comparison.. did you really just liken memb to a homeless person?Next time I give money to a homeless dude on the street, I will go back to that dude 10 days later and I will demand my money back...

well sleeping on the sofa is not the same as sleeping under a bridge 11. I just think its a delicate analogy.. it is unfavourable for both the homeless person (someone who would really need those $200, unlike memb) and memb (who probably doesn't want to be compared to someone homeless).Wait, those were the conditions that I ever supported Memb under.
You mean he's really not homeless....?

I agree with that, in particular because memb clearly states on his twitch page that donations are non-refundable. However, I don't think it is ridiculous to ask (even a bit later) that the money be spent on a showmatch, and it is a shame that they couldn't agree on a compromise. I really enjoyed these saturday evening BO5 show matches casted on voobly official and sponsored by canabliz.I just wanted to illustrate how ridiculous is to donate money and demand it back 10 days later.
You did a pretty good job of laying out a case to prejudge before you know what you are talking about though - "Why would Canabliz be donating a lot of money to Memb and other streamers and then complain about $200? Given the amount of money he donated this is just some change for him, so I'd say there is at least some truth in what he's saying. Especially since Hearttt is now confirming that Memb meant to pay back some money it confirms there is at least something going on. "

If you so much want a proof. Watch here Membs responce. Starting at 3.43.45 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/251098093
I don't know under what context the 200$ were sent, what it was for or if there was a conversation between them about it. While I was on Michael's computer through teamviewer to help him sort his stream out, I catched a little bit of the conversation (and Michael asked me to keep reading just in case). Memb offered to give Michael the 200$ back if he wanted, they kept on talking and after not coming to an agreement Michael asked for his money back. At this point, Memb didn't want to refund him anymore, for whatever reason.
Once again, I have no idea about the rest of the story, how why or when the 200$ were donated, so I can only comment on the part I was there for.
Doesn't matter. One kid doesn't get to call the other out for being a kid. And they both act like one way too often.Even if hypocritical, he's not wrong.
Nelson was right, that part was in response to one of the previous posts, I should've pointed that out.You did a pretty good job of laying out a case to prejudge before you know what you are talking about though - "Why would Canabliz be donating a lot of money to Memb and other streamers and then complain about $200? Anyway, I still don't see why people are accusing Canabliz or Memb, even though the donations didn't have a mention of the tournament and seem like "normal" donations we don't know what Memb and Canabliz talked about before donating and if we believe Hearttt (I don't see why we shouldn't, he doesn't gain anything from lying as far as I can see) then it seems that even after donating Memb said he would pay back the money, but changed his mind.
Now IF Memb is right and there was no mention of a BF tournament before the donation, I don't see why he would have to pay back the money or host a showmatch/tournament for it because 1. hosting a showmatch costs time and effort that he might want to invest another way and 2. Canabliz saying what Memb should do with the money after he gave it to him is just not right. I have donated quite a bit to Memb in the past and if I would now say he needed to give it all to charity that just wouldn't be right, when I gave it to him, I lost all my rights for what to do with the money, it is a gift after all.
So all in all there are still 2 things that are unclear: 1. What was discussed before Canabliz donated and 2. Did Memb say that he would give back the money?
For the first thing Canabliz would need to post some evidence or otherwise he doesn't have any claim that the money should be invested into a BF showmatch except for his word and for the second thing maybe Memb can clarify what happened.
Seriously i don't understand why people try to follow or understand this case, it's none of our buisness, even if we had all the details of this story no one has the right to judge it. It's their own stuff let them handle it in the way they want. Get a life people and stop always trying to look for drama.
I can tell you this much, Memb would NEVER allow someone to go on his channel as a third party during a game chat and make unproven charges against somebody else.
And on top of that, there is NO WAY Memb would allow some of those comments you see in MBLs stream without at least a temporary ban.
i think robo retired after he banned gerry. just no motivation anymore...@robo Can a mod do his job and lock that stupid thread ? x)
