Nice to see some of the names I remember mentioned. Definitely must be RoR Kisz in terms of rating since she was 2200 (not sure if another female reached therebouts). CTC happylala was a solid 2k but mostly a tger if I am not mistaken.

I don't know either what max. rating she has reached, but at least close to 2k1.
Gabi has played more in (qualifiers of) international tournaments recently and because Ning only started playing AoE 2 2.5 years ago, I would say Gabi still has more high level tournament experience. How far Ning still can go, we'll see.

Wow this was quite the necropost :D

At least representation has come quite a long way since 2014 I'm happily retired-ish and making the transition well from player to dev, but its nice to see Gabi continue her climb, and others start to make their journey upward as well. Mica has also reached 2k I believe.

Was lovely meeting so many women from our Age community past and present at Red Bull.

One of the reasons why I like Age of Empires 2 is that many players become stronger or maintain their good condition when they are about 30 years old. Gaby was born in 1994. Recently, she played the best game: she suppressed whocl in the feudal era and killed his farmers crazily. Obviously, she will continue to grow stronger, although in many other computer games, it is difficult for people of this age to improve significantly.

Let me be the asshole and say that there is a reason for the lack of females at the top level of RTS. It's similar to other sports. It's hormones like testosterone which drive men to be ultra competitive. Physical strength is not the main criteria in RTS yet women are not at the top.

So I think this discussion regarding best female player is actually okay as they, unfortunately, play at a disadvantage.

(As a 1k elo player, and as per the above argument, I have 0 testosterone)
