Swlf is not promoting the use of vulgar language, but what he is saying basically is so what if someone called you a loser/faggot/*****. Honestly, how does that matter in the least way possible. I have been called all sorts of things in my aoc career, and a lot of the time it has only made me chuckle. I get some joy out of it when I wall the entire map on arabia and then get called an ***** noob ******, so on and so forth. Kind of amusing how angry people can get for such stupid things.
Anyway, I guess this is a matter of belief as to whether it is necessary to enforce a proper moral code in this community or not. For me, I don't think a moral code is necessary because this is only a small part of my life where I can to relieve some stress and have some fun. But I do agree that as part of the job of the moderators, a line has to be drawn somewhere and that is reasonable. I just don't think banning a person is necessary. A flamer can be an outcast in the community based on his/her own terms and actions. Moderator intervention is really unnecessary.
