I'm not gonna comment on Hussars as meat shields for Mangudais, as I switched to melee cavalry as main unit with Cav Archers as Pike killers long ago (who am I kidding... still got my regular Archers from feudal, just gonna upgrade them to XBows and call it a day). But as to Nomads not seeing as much use as, like, Anarchy and Perfusion: We are at 23 civs now, aka 46 UTs. Its basically impossible to come up with so many interesting, useful, balanced ideas without making some almost carbon copies of others (hi Marauders). And let's be honest here - how often do you use Drill?But that is not my main point, I'm just saying that the UT Nomads due to its limited usefulness could be improved either by hussars, knights, camels getting +5% speed OR by including destroyed Castles and TCs in not losing population room.
Just found a funny bug: The graphics of mangudai are totally broken, probably because the instant shooting is removed. Now the unit shoots the arrow while it is reloading. Looks hilarious.
Most civs get infantry as UU? 7/18 or 8/23 doesn't seem like "most" to me :D
i heard this new version brings in a lot of AI-Bugs (or extremely annoying features) like producing and insta-killing own units, removing walls of scenarios, player units forgetting orders and so on. i find this extremely annoying, and if this is all correct (still need to test) i reconsider downgrading to the last version (with beloved hunting dogs) or just quitting it once for all. please answer.

And is there a good reason for it, i think not. An other way would be to give them attack Bonus vs rams, enough to kill one with 3 or 4 shots, so if you attack a bombard Tower with two, so that they can destroy him then.
