Hey man, chill!I'm just wondering as to when would the next patch be out.
My Chinese start with -200 food instead of -150 as the game says. Is it a bug or have I installed bad the game?
Bug: Non-patrolled units walk right past each other on Reveal All
I've tried this with infantry/cavalry/ranged units. Both sides will walk directly past each other if a standard right-click attack is used from far away.
^^ I think it`s made like that on purpose, and the max res should be 1920x1440. If I remember right, the upper limit was set not to make it a huge advantage for those that have pretty big monitors... Though it is arguable, I think.Hi,
not sure whether it's really a "bug", but the max resolution in AoFE seems to be 1920x1200. The max resolution of my monitor is 2560x1440 though :S I already talked to other players, who can't make use of their highest resolution, too. In AoC, the patch by boekabart works fine with higher resolutions and is compatible with voobly (rated/non-rated). Would be glad to be able to play in a higher resolution in the future!
Thx for all the hard work - hope you're getting lots of donations!
Hm, shouldn`t the video be scaled down to some "normal" resolution? :? That link just crashed my graphics driver, lol :P (resolution being too big to be shown on my laptop)@Buga: Yep - resolutions are getting bigger and bigger (FullHD on smartphones etc). // The answer to the mouse-issue is kinda simple: A gaming mouse with an acceleration function (that needs to be adjusted ofc).
Edit: an 18xx guy playing @ 2560x1440: http://en.twitch.tv/eagl3s_khanz/b/336565659
Please guys, increase the max resolution in future updates :|
Yeah, that`s what I`m saying, when you pass a certain point (resolution) it`s more a disadvantage than advantage, so no need to restrict it. And we`ll need higher resolutions in the future for sure. I hope UserPatch can address it...TheViper said:Higher resolutions would be very good for casting, but for playing I feel 1920x1080 is the absolute max I'd be able to enjoy.
