So Tarsiz posted his ranking half a year ago and I was curious how it would look like now.
I mostly copied his metric because it is imo really good (I just realised that I forgot the extra 40 points for qualifiers, maybe I will add them later...).
To summarize how it works:
A table for half the points was also made, so you can compare it yourself.
The table: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dnXfn7vy8-HdLB5sRP_iwafol-iY4g3u4EtxhfzLwFs/edit#gid=0
You can sort the table by columns by hovering over the headers and click on the dropdown menu and then sort.
If you dont want to mess up the "rank" column, you select all columns but the 1st one, click at the top "Data" -> "Sort range" and then select the column you want to sort by.
Top 15 (Overall)
Top 15 (only S-Tier)

To summarize how it works:
- All 1v1 S-Tier and A-Tier from the last 365 days are included
- Tiers guideline from Liquipedia here (although it says >$5k is S-Tier, in practise it's >$10k)
- This will result into 5 S-Tier events and 10 A-Tier events (DMWC 3/4 and Age Royale aren't included)
- Points for S-Tier: Winner gets 1000 points, runner-up gets 600 points, semifinalists get 360 points, quarterfinalists get 180 points, etc. Minimum you get is 25 points.
- Points for A-Tier: Winner gets 333 points, runner-up gets 200 points, semifinalists get 120 points, quarterfinalists get 60 points, etc. Minimum you get is 20 points.

Random observations:
- Vodka and repard are in the top 20 due to their results in A-Tier tournaments. While they are both great players, I think we can agree that both of them aren't top 20 (yet).
- TheViper dominates the A-Tier tournaments, having double the points of the 2nd being Hera.
- In general, A-Tier tournaments can be tough to judge since they can be regional or invitational.
- Liereyy - a clear #1? Already heavily discussed on AoEZone in the last days/weeks.
- DauT ranks #3 if you only look at S-Tier tournaments thanks to his RBW3 win.
- Having 3 out of 5 S-Tier tournaments played on EW mode is not ideal to say the least. EW definitely deserves to be in this list but balance is the magic word here (the majors in tennis are also played on 3 different surfaces).
- Vinchester makes a strong case for himself with his last year. After ACCM and Villese stepped up their game last year, Vinchester follows in a similar way.
- JorDan is back!
