so many former UD_ players .. btw I think other cool aspects of voting could be the players starting a kind of Strategy movement, for example kmkm fw's, B1ade Xbows, halen full feudal (aok), mozory (or missery, i forget which) fw vill + drush, tim walls, funito scouting, ertug hacks, daut drush+15min ca. strats that after they showed the power, became the meta of the game for months or years and in some cases became iconic figures of strategies I remember when i first started getting competitive I thought a FW was actually called KMKM .. and then of course different people who had their own spin on certain strategys like chris fw + stable at home, iori rapist 5vill fw with mass towers, chy_23 with drush+fullM@a+tower fw players that you knew would do 1 specific strategy and they would still **** on you with it. And then the players who paved the way for their country and of course having everyone else copy them, for example playing any VNS today is like playing a bacgiofro in training, and before chinese players were all mini Iori+bt4's and turks playing like cyclops im sure that sounds terribly racist but I seem to notice strategy trends based on country, if for no other reason then they are all playing at the same time so of course they develope a similar style. I think thats problly more of an older aoc phenomenon though (players known for 1 specific strategy), most players today are so well rounded being able to see all the recs, commentaries, strategy guides that many dont get locked down into a certain strategy style like viper/jordan are prime examples for me of new school players that could look back at all these different iconic strategies and instead of go heavy into 1 they developed a sort of well rounded, play the map correctly and react to the enemy style which is why i think they are so successful. (this of course talking specifically arabia 1v1 lol) im sure people have lots to say about top play on other maps but ill stick to what I know. wow.. i just wrote a book here and that was just the tip of the iceberg. luffis what have you started!
