So basically I have seen alot of debate about the best players ever, and to once and for all determine some kind of list of all the best players. I am a regular on a very active hockey forum where lists are made all the time, and even though I dont participate in the voting, since I dont consider my knowledge good enough when it comes to players from far removed eras, I like to look at them and learn more about players from the past and how people evaluate them. From this I have however taken in how these lists are made and I think this could be transfered into making a list of top AoC players of all time.
How this would work I will in detail explain later if there is enough interest in making such a list, in short however it would work something like this:
A panel of 15-20 voters (who have been around since atleast 2001/2 and at some point have played at a moderatly high level) will in rounds vote on 10 players at one time, handing out 1st - 10th place votes (1st place vote worth 10 pts and 10th place vote worth 1 pt). The order in wich the players will be voted on will be determined by a preliminary list handed in by the voters in the beginning. For reference how this kind of voting would work you can go here and check:

Basically before each voting round there would be in depth discussion that everyone (not only voters) can participate in and argue player Y above player X based on how player Y performed in his/her era compared to his peers and competition.
For now I would like to se if there is any interest in this, and if so who would be interested in taking part in making such a list as it takes some (not extensive, but some) commitment. Basically I would like the voters to be people who have been around during the MSN zone - Gamepark - IGZ/Voobly - MrFixIt - Lclan - BsK - AoCgroup - AoCZone eras and at some point been fairly good (this could be discussed)/have had good knowledge/insight when it comes to top experts etc.
Edit: This would be ranking of AoC players, maybe in rare cases taking in accomplishments from AoK for some very early AoC top players. And the length of the list imo should be around 50-70 players (will be discussed)
Edit2: Will be limited to RM players allthough top RM players with good DM accolades might be something to strengthen their case (again, these rules etc will eventually be discussed).
