Hey everybody!
I am hosting a 1v1 tournament for female players called Age of Queens. It will start 25th of September and it will last until 4th of October.
Rules: No civilisation repeat. The first map is Arabia. The second map will be chosen by the loser of Arabia and next homemap will be from the other player. Laming is allowed. No smurfing.
Tournament mode: Double elimination.
The finals will be Bo5, all other match-ups are Bo3.
Map pool: Acropolis, Arena, Ghost Lake, Hill fort, Golden Pit, Golden Swamp, Islands, Nomad, Ravines, Lombardia, MegaRandom, Hideout, Four Lakes
Game Settings:
Hidden civilisation
Conquest 200 pop
Tiny map (2 players)
Normal vision
Record game AI
Difficulty Standard
Pick and ban:
1) For best of 3: Every player picks 5 civilisations and 2 home maps. The other player will ban 1 civ and 1 map picked by his opponent and vice versa.
2) For best of 5: Every player picks 7 civilisations and 3 home maps. The other player will ban 1 civ and 1 map picked by his opponent and vice versa.
Price pool:
Since we have players of very different skill levels the players will be divided into two groups (basically two mini tournaments).
League 1 is for more experienced players, the winner of League 1 will be our Crowned Queen and receive a 50€ steam gift card.
League 2 is beginner-friendly (people below 1.1k elo). The winner of League 2 will be our Crowned Princess and receive a 20€ steam gift card.

Streams:
We have lots of amazing female streamers in the community. Anyone can stream the tournament, as long as they put "Age of Queens 1v1 tournament" into the stream title. I will post a rough schedule that shows which streamers are covering the tournament.
